Relatively expensive but the club sandwich was good enough. Very convenient access from Rydges hotel. Best choice when everything else in the airport area has closed. Stairs down gets you to the rest of the airport restaurants.
Good place to spent some time while waiting for your plane. Way overpriced though. But they do have proper beer, makes waiting easier.
Everything is great except for the airport premium of 25-30% over what we'd get elsewhere. We enjoyed our fish and chips and spiced lentil soup; the staff were very good; and it's nice to relax above the bustle. So we will definitely be back. The view across the terminal is interesting.
Stopped by before heading home for some much needed lunch. We were served right away by a lovely gentleman at the counter Decided to have a glass of wine and a beer to go with our lunch today. Prices as you expect with it being in the airport. We ordered the steak and ceaser salad. Steak 150g cooked beautifully no fault here Ceaser salad was delicious portion big and the dressing was soooo good would recommend a bit more bacon but apart from that I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place if your looking for a low key place to sit and dine whilst you wait for your flight. Its in a great location away from the hussle and bussle of the airport tucked away upstairs in the corner.
Awesome place to spend a few hours waiting for your flight at Wellington Airport. Head up the lift to the mezzanine level outside the Rydges hotel. We had a couple of drinks and the ordered spicy hot nuts which were Cinnamon spiced and not hot spice as expected. Burgers and fries were great and a perfect supper before flying.
Eat at your own risk. Absoultey dreadfull. I would rather drink out of the Gangis than eat here. Mum had ribs, prepacked and cooked goodness knows were, I had antipasta plate. A pile of salami sliced in ribbons with 2 pieces of cheese. $45.00 revolting. Lovely we girl took it back. Mum couldnt eat her meal. Dad had fish and chips which he liked. Unless the kitchen wants to try the food before it goes out then this is totaly unaeceptable. (And the owners responses as per cut in paste below, is very insincere. )
Lovely staff, great effort on their behalf. Food was just terrible though, priced like Charley Noble's, but really poor effort. Ordered the fish and chip, got an uncutable chunk of rubber, was 2/3 oily batter 1/3 rubber.
Not the best experience. We have been coming here for years as regular travelers. Unfriendly and unhelpful service. Coffee wasn't good so we sorted it with sugar. Had to ask for the sugar and then no spoons to even stir it. No point asking for a change to a meal....they won't do it. Not impressed...we won't be back. This used to be an awesome place to eat and chill out.
The dishes looked nice but the sausages in the big breakfast tasted as if they had gone off. I mentioned it to the staff and all they did was apologize.
