   Since John took over, this pub has gone from strength to strength. He's added so many features (doggy biscuits and beers, kids play area, lots of board games, weekly food trucks, weekly quizzes) that have made it not only a family friendly, local pub, but also a destination. Offering some amazing beers, wonderful staff will take you into their care and ensure you can kick back and relax. Dog friendly, kid friendly, social team friendly, it really does offer do much! Thanks for everything team, we love you!

   Just a five minute walk from our house, The Sprig and Fern in Berhampore is an extension of our house, especially with the arrival of our wee girl two years ago. It’s a friendly and welcoming spot for new parents searching for the normality of their old lives and desperate for a drink and to feel like they are part of the world, and close enough to home to duck out the first time you leave a babysitter in charge and attend quiz night! Dinner is taken care of if the day has been “a bit much” with a basic but good menu, and the regular attendance of the Greek Food Truck. Our girl is now two, and confidently participates in pub life, chatting to the staff and patting the numerous dogs who visit. Yesterday we held a small celebration for her birthday, and had a magic time in the “grassed” area out front, which is separate from the rest of the outdoor space. It’s safe, the drinks are great, and it feels like home. Well done to the fabulous team who have done a great job with this place, it’s a real community hub.

   Tonight is only my 2nd time in here which should have been in here a lot more as only stay down street from here. Anyways this is a great pub has so much beer to choose from also good whiskey here as well. I’m sure wine is great as well. Also been a vegan it’s got got nice food for us and Vegetarian pizza taste so good, good range of vegetarian options down here. Also the staff are amazing and super helpful and friendly. They have a lot off kids games and toys to let kids play with and also have good range of games for us adults .

   Best local pub in Wellington! Always great service from John and the team and the range of beers on tap is fantastic! There is something for everyone’s tastes. They are super dog friendly too which is the icing on the cake and is a firm favourite of our little doggo. Highly recommend.

   Love this place. It’s the local for my football team and the staff are super friendly, beer range is awesome and food is *chef’s kiss*. Not only this but after being our number 1 supporters for the winter season they actually sponsored our team for the summer season, including new kit. What an incredible little business, great vibes, awesome sunny location and dog friendly. Absolute winner!

   Love the Sprig and Fern, it's the best local around. Great food, service and drinks! Quiz night is heaps of fun too on Tuesday nights. Very family friendly and a cool place for a board game with the kids and a couple of pints in the weekend.

   Wonderful spot. John and the rest of the staff are so great - friendly and professional. Awesome to have such a family friendly bar in the area. We've hosted two fundraising events as a local charity at the venue and it's been awesome. All the stress taken out of the organisation - we just turn up with our supporters:) Best thing - the corn nuggets on the menu, and the always full jar of jet planes on the bar
