There are signs when you enter that say "ID required, no exceptions". When I went to pay for my cider and asked if the attendant would want to see my ID, he laughed in a very mocking manner that made me feel embarrassed for asking him that. It was quite a long laugh too at a time when I was doing all I can not to break down in public but have a drink whilst waiting for my flight. I wasn't trying to imply I look younger than the legal age but only offered because of that sign. A simple, "no, that's alright" would have been better. You never know why someone needs a drink while at the airport and the last thing a person attending to the public there should do is be snidey like that. Dear attendant there yesterday (Tuesday) around 6pm, please respond better to that question next time.

Just stopped in to wait for my flight. Was pleasantly surprised with great vibes and efficient service from Del. Best meat pie and lovely ginger lemon honey tea!

Good nachos and drinks, but the attention is too slow!

Delightful spot - great atmosphere, coffee & breakfast muffins & amazing service from server Liam & French Mgr Marion Made us feel very welcome & cared for. They didn't have gluten-free options so recommended another cafe for one of our family & texted the cafe in case the buzzer signal didn't reach us & even gave us tomato sauce to go with it! Love the comfy blue booths & big windows - I absolutely recommend United Brew Works!

Wellington airport’s newest bar has a modern yet retro atmosphere. Featuring a range of craft beats from fortune favours with guest taps there’s a small but good range of beers and ciders. There is also a coffee made from a selection of Wellington roasters. Food wise there’s plant based salads and smoothies and hotdogs of various kinds. The beer is well priced at around $10 a glass (for an airport). There is also water in still or sparking varieties to stay hydrated. It’s a good corner to people watch from and there’s power at most tables to charge devices.

I wish all airport bars were this good! Best beer on tap in the airport and at reasonable prices that make whiling away the time a great option! United Brew Dogs covers your best craft beer options from the Wellington Region with Fortune Favours, Boneface, and Kereru, while still ensuring some solid New Zealand presentation from across the country. Quick service makes sitting and waiting for your plan that much more pleasant. A great wine list ensures all taste palettes are supported. The bar tenders can bang out your standard drinks or mix up something more top shelf depending on your mood ahead of trace. The food options are easily navigable as United Brew Dogs opts for simpler sharing style foods over full plates, making for a communal ambiance and a more welcoming atmosphere. Try their hotdogs, they’re made with the finest ingredients from sausage to the condiments dressing them. Go here for a good drink before you travel and enjoy minimising the mindless time spent on the other side of the security barrier!
