So cool, its been 30 yrs since ive been to pickapart, stoked they had the part I needed and it was easy to find.
The prices feel higher now and the parts don't align up with what's online. One time I found a car with a whole bunch of medication, condoms and such.
Has a number of somewhat older models, entrance 2$ and the rest is up to you
Good place to get what you need. Staff are friendly. Prices are all laid out so you know what you're in for before you arrive. Some are a tad high depending what you're after. Be careful with electronic parts that you can't test. No returns, no refunds, so those are a gamble. Wear good boots as your shoes will get wet.
Good place to get cheaper parts for older cars
Needed a corner light for my nissan primera. Lady at entrance gave a printout which told me the location of several primeras. The printout told me the row where each car could be found and the number on the car. The row number was marked on the end car. I found what I was looking for and removed from the primera myself. The light cost $20 on trademe the cheapest I found was $35 and you had to add shipping. You can check what cars are in stocks online as well as price.
Great set-up with friendly, helpful staff. The part I needed took me a minute to remove and saved $70 compared with wreckers online including Trade Me.
