   Our Nan’s Experience: It saddens me to leave my first one star review this year in June 2025, not because I dislike the store or its shoes, but because of how a valued customer was treated (my partner's grandmother who is my favourite person). She recently visited your store with her daughter to purchase a pair of black boots she loved and almost walked away without purchasing the shoes, feeling disrespected and hurt. She described a staff member who was impatient and dismissive toward her, showing no compassion or understanding. While she was simply trying her shoes which is very hard to do herself and also while figuring out whether to tap, swipe, or insert her card upon her purchase, the staff member abruptly snatched the card from her hands. She was left confused, embarrassed, and deeply upset. Older customers, like our Nan, are incredibly independent, mature and capable; what they need is not pity but kindness, patience, and support. Instead of rushing them, offer assistance. A friendly comment or compliment could have made her day. Instead, she left feeling belittled. Would you stand by your own parents or grandparents to be treated like that? This store has now lost a genuine customer in paraparam who truly loved your products and she will cherish the shoes for the time being but won't be coming back. Stay kind and humble to all.

   Went in there recently and was appaled by the lack of customer service. Instead of greeting me when I walked in, it appeared that the elderly couple working there were too wrapped up in a conversation in their own native tounge to even acknowledge me. The store wasn’t particularly tidy and I almost felt like I was being made fun of as i was looking around. I left without even so much as a “hi” or “bye”. Suffice to say, I will not be returning.

   I purchased 2 pair of boots that are made especially for wide feet. Same brand, same size. One pair fits well and other too small. The material on top of the boot is shorter than the other pair, I asked if I could return the pair that I can not wear in return for a credit so I could spend the money on a different 'wide fit shoe ' Manager refuses. This is against Consumer Rights rules and I am filing a complaint with the Disputes Tribunal. Beware of bad customer service.

   I bought a pair of summer shoes which I was told weren't made in China (as I avoid Chinese made shoes) but they were. The heels fell apart after two wearings and I took them back just after Christmas. I wanted a refund as I felt the quality of the heels reflected the quality of the shoes but was told they would be repaired. I heard nothing back until I rang today, two months later, and was told all documentation had been lost in a flood so I couldn't be contacted. Summer is virtually over and I'm going to the northern hemisphere tomorrow. When I explained this the owner said "it will be summer there soon" which I thought extremely rude. I am very unhappy with this service.
