left feeling unsatisfied, still hungry might go to maccas's, burgers were shit, should’ve used lettuce leaves instead of shredded lettuce and the cheese on those fries was disgusting. poor service, overall experience was not good

Happened upon Dirty Burger Upper Hutt location when we searching for a place in the city centre. My wife had The Dirty Burger and I had the Stormy Daniels (chicken burger). We also had the cheesy fries and a Whitaker’s choco shake. The atmosphere is funky and the food is great! Oh, and the chocolate shake is AWESOME! Definitely come for a visit the next time we are in Upper Hut!
Really really good! My burger was excellent, a little messy but that was due to how loaded it was so not a complaint at all! The thick shake was so good! I had PB and chocolate and I'll probably be thinking about it for weeks! Also great music playing while I dined! This has replaced Nord Burger as my favorite burger place. Let me know when you open a branch in New Plymouth!
Dirty burger is quickly turning into one of my favourite eateries in Uppers. The burgers are always good. The sides just as good. Everyone order a plain Jane with an extra patty. That burg is worthy of being in a movie. There's one gal in particular who's always got great service there as well. Love me some dirty burg
It's a shame I'm having to write this review in such a poor light, because a couple of the burgers weren't too bad. However, the kids cheese burgers were dangerously undercooked, and it was pink inside throughout. To add to the misery, a piece of a latex glove was found in the chips and gravy. What kind of preparation standards are happening over there if you don't notice that a piece of your glove has come off, or for how long to cook a burger for? None of the kitchen staff had masks on either.
A new hamburger experience for Upper Hutt of burgers with real meat patties and simple contents done very well. I can also recommend the chips with cheese and gravy it was good value for money. I had heard previously Dirty Burgers were slow to assemble the burgers so recommend ordering online unless you have 25 minutes to spare! Let's hope these guys get some speed lessons on cooking multiple items at once. Time is of the essence for most modern Takeaways....
