   My first visit in 10+ years and was really impressed. I always thought Zara's was just another kebab shop but it proved to be really good value and really tasty food. Friendly staff with good, thoughtful recommendations. I had the vegetarian meze- really good flavours, big portions, the vegetarian salad was really nice too. Both highly recommended. Will definitely be visiting again. Would love a bit more decoration in the place, a few Turkish carpets on the walls, Turkish lamps and photos could raise the place above your average takeaway.

   Just wanted to share my recent experience at Zarad Turkish cafe The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. I ordered the meat on chips, and the flavor was absolutely fantastic – really delicious. The quality of the food was certainly there, which I appreciated. However, I did feel that the portion size was a little small for the price, considering what you get. Maybe a slightly larger serving would make it perfect. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd definitely go back again. I would recommend this place!

   Best Adana kebab and mixed grill I have ever had in the whole Wellington region❤️ I really recommend the chicken yavo as well very tasty and can not be found anywhere else. Would 100% recommend this restaurant

   Disappointed in staffs response to Vegetarian requests. We appreciate people have different views and opinions however to become aggressive and threatening isn't necessary. Zaras kebabs are notorious and often delicious in Upper Hutt and their terrible reputation for the way they treat their staff and customers isn't acceptable. I'm pleased our children weren't present during this rude and aggressive behavior.

   Highly recommend. Service was good, kid friendly and the food was fresh and tasty. Pizza, kebab, chips and chocolate cake all execlent, wouldn't change a thing except the need to make more tiramisu, must be good so will have to try that next time :)

   We ordered food..( mine was beef/ chicken salad..)the serving was so big..and it's really delicious.Even their kids meal serving is big too.. It's a bit far on where we live and it's small place but its worth it to go back.
