Disappointed. I ordered this prawn chicken wrap but there’s no wrap at all. Poor service as the servers were talking to each other whilst preparing my food which meant that my food were sprinkled with your saliva. Gross.
Most disappointing banh mi I've ever had - nothing like the picture they had on the menu. Very dishonest. I didn't bother to finish it. Soggy bread, filled with nothing but onion heavy meat mixture.
Worst bahn mi of my life. Bread was a random soggy roll (think garlic bread) not hardshell. No pate or other key flavours. Lady asked if we wanted spicy, and there was no chilli at all. There had to have been at least 1 onion per roll, barely any meat, and didn't even taste like a traditional bahn mi. Tasted like a complete disappointment, and honestly wasn't worth even half the price.
Cannot rave about the dumplings here they are already cooked sitting in baskets under warmers they are dry and chewy. Will stick to going to dumpling house where they cook to order.
I recently dined at Mint restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience! The crispy dumplings were not only fresh but also incredibly tasty. The filled roti rolls were a delightful surprise—fresh, flavorful, and filling. The restaurant boasts a great selection, and every dish I tried was delicious. Overall, a highly satisfying dining experience with a variety of mouthwatering options
I ordered a chicken noodle soup (pho) and I waited for ages, my family are already finish eating while me are still waiting for my food. (I ordered it first). Finally, after waiting for so long I got my noodle soup the taste is not good, but that time I'm so hungry so, I continue eating. Something happen when I took a bite of noodles, a hard object hit my tooth, first I thought my tooth came out, but when I saw the hard object, a sharp stone. My tooth hurts when the time it hits me, I approach the lady at the counter and tell what happen. She only says that she's going to tell to her boss about what happened and she say sorry. Please keep your food safe for unexpected thing. Health and safety first before serving the food.
Took a long time to get my order today.I usually get their chicken or beef noodle soup(pho). Normally does takes ages, but this time I only got my order coz I had to go up and ask. And the chicken seems to have shrunk even with the price goin up. Won’t be ordering from them, will just go for lil manila
Amazing food, super tasty and I actually had quick service despite other reviews (I think those customers were just having bad days). Their summer rolls were fresh, you could tell they had been made only just before I purchased them. I would strongly recommend you visit them, especially on Saturdays. Some of the best Vietnamese food I have had in Wellington since visiting Vietnam pre-covid.
Im giving 1 extra star because their beef noodle soup is pretty good. What I didn't like was I had to wait bloody long time to get my beef pho and pork ban mi. At least 40min+? And then they tell me at the end they dont have pork ban mi? So changed it to chicken. Yea, ban mi was just average, not worth the price. Probably wont go back, no big loss
