   First 2 times here was with my family, 3rd time was a small group of 3 friends. Every time the service, the food, the atmosphere was just great. Third time dining the Manager had come over to make sure I was especially comfortable seeing that I was pregnant, brought a fan over and asked if I would like a more cushioned seat. Cannot fault any part of this place! Looking forward to our next visit :) The overall cost is a bit higher than average as I purchased a mocktail and sodas.

   Hardware bar is the jewel in the crown for Stokes Valley dining. Its very warm, inviting, with staff that go above and beyond on service. Plus you can bring your fur baby here too!. The food is delicious with generous portion size. The Ribs are the best in Wellington. Will return again, and bring many more vistors

   We were a table of eight having dinner together. We had one vegan and on gluten allergy. The food was exceptionally good and they were very helpful in meeting the dietary needs. The service was very good. The open fire is a nice touch, it cooled a little at one point but soon picked up with another log added. We had a variety of meal choices, including fish and chips, steaks, seafood chowder, pizza and beef and Guinness pie. Everyone was happy with their meal, they were hot and the servings were plentiful. Only on dessert as we were all full. We are very lucky to have this as our local.

   Had a dinner with the family and we’re glad to say we’ll be back again soon. Food was lovely and we had two steaks, beef Wellington and the bangers & mash. Steaks and the Beef Wellington were not dry and they were cooked as how we liked it. Seafood chowder was on point and not overly salty like how some would do and the kids wanted a second round! Service was excellent and staff were very attentive. They do have regular specials so do check them out on their website. What we would like to try next time would be their platters and they do have quite a few to choose from. Our friends have also mentioned that they do take bookings for a party and highly recommend them with the party platters and drinks.

   Had a great dining experience at The Hardware tonight, food was great and service was amazing. The front of house guy went above and beyond to make sure the kids were happy, giving cushions to get them sitting comfortably, a picture to colour in and even a chocolate fish to keep our youngest happy. He also made sure we were aware of the deals on so we could get the best value for money. Looking forward to coming back soon!

   recently took my daughter to hardware bar and restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff was super friendly and quick to serve, very professional. The flavours were sensational, and left with excitement to come back & try more on the menu. what agreat team.
