    We call up and order chicken jalfrezi which isn’t on the menu but they still make it for us… absolutely delicious and perfect spicyness… we can smell it as we are walking through the subway. Mmm . Sometimes he will give us a free naan just for being regular customers. The best taste in Wellington. We can remember when they first opened. They now have a great reputation.     The BEST Indian food we have had in Wellington! Ordered butter chicken, lamb Rohan Josh and a butter prawn, all were delicious!! Chef even made us some freshly made onion baji which again were the best we’ve ever had Thank you and your lovely family for an amazing dinner

    100% best Indian food I have eaten in NZ. Kadai Chicken is fantastic - absolutely packed full of vegetables, chicken and flavour. The garlic and cheese naan is also great. Best to order food in advance, as good things take time. It can take a while for the food to be prepared. Oh and prices are incredible, esp. considering how much goodness is packed into these meals. Very friendly service. Absolute gem. Thanks guys!

    Great food! Can recommend the butter chicken, prawn malabari, prawn madras lamb korma and lamb pasanda. Sometimes the food can be a bit slow coming, so make sure to order well in advance and allow breathing room in case your order isn't ready when you come to pick up.

    Never disappointed. Very fussy when it comes to Indian cuisine but AJ just blows me away every time..service is friendly, butter chicken is always on point but decided to try their chicken biriyarni which I usually purchase else where and decided to take a chance and WOW theirs was FLAVOUR SMACKING AMAZING.     Wow! What's this? Almost entirely hidden away in what used to be a Turkish kebab shop is one of the best Indian food joints I've been to in ages. The butter chicken I had was creamy and tomatoey and really yum. The samosas we're huge and almost a main in themselves. The menu is pretty comprehensive and I can't wait to get back and try something new! 10/10
