   Within reason a curry is a curry but this really was sub-par. Our two takeaway curries were only 2/3 full. The saag was lumpy and flavorless, with the paneer being dry and not incorporated. The butter chicken had bones and a chunk of not chicken in it. None of us enjoyed the roti, and usually that’s my kids favorite part of Indian food. Two curries between 4 people and neither of them were finished because they were not worth eating. Don’t let the convenience of being the only restaurant in town lure you in, Tummy Treat in Stokes Valley where we are a few weeks back is better priced and far better food.

   I don't usually write reviews but after visiting Aroma India, Silverstream last night with my partner and having had such a wonderful experience (again), I must congratulate their team. This restaurant is such a great asset to our community. We visit often and generally choose to dine-in as the food is delicious and varied. We like to try new dishes but it's always a tough choice to depart from the dishes we know and love. Whatever we choose we know we are going to get a flavour explosion. We are always well cared for by friendly staff with efficient service. We love the fact that it's BYO wine, affordable and always such a positive experience. Of course, we always order too much but leftovers are cheerfully packed up for us to take home. This last visit included a 'Merry Christmas' message on the box. A simple but thoughtful touch from this well run restaurant that never disappoints us. We love it. 5 stars!

   Wow...what an amazing taste! It’s been a long time since I’ve had food this good. We placed a large order of 50 chicken biryanis for a gathering, and every single one of my friends absolutely loved it. The flavors were rich, the chicken was tender, and the aroma was irresistible. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, delicious biryani and great service! I’ll definitely be ordering again

   Food was absolutely abysmal. Have given 4 stars for service because, my order was late closer to their closing time and accepted my order. They have the same curry paste prepared and used it for the three types of dishes that we had ordered. And the taste of the curry paste was too tangy as if the paste had not cooked properly. Would not recommened personally to our friend circle.

   Just ordered what I thought would be a delicious dinner. It was ok until I found a hair in my onion bhaji. The onion bhaji unfortunately looked and tasted as though I was given what was at the bottom of the barrel. Having someone elses hair in my mouth really put me off the rest of my meal.

   The best butter chicken I’ve ever had. I had it medium which was delicious! We also had Beef madras which I also recommend. They both came with rice (so you don’t need to order additional rice like I accidentally did). Will add this to our regular takeaway list!

   Have just got back home from a great dinner out. Cold night so perfect night for a curry!! Always a great selection of dishes to choose from. It was a busy night with takeaways but the service was very friendly and the timing of everything was perfect. Have dined here many times and will continue to do so.

   Went here for an impromptu lunch on Thurs with a handful of colleagues and had a great time! Not only did they manage to accommodate 6 of us short notice the man was friendly and helpful when we asked questions when ordering! The food then came fairly quickly and was spectacular! Their onion bajis were divine, as was my Naan, plus we tried a couple of things we'd never had before, like a Cauliflower paratha which was so yummy! And my lamb, mushroom masala was a first, and is definitely a great flavour! Overall experience was wonderful, and the food fantastic! Highly recommend!!!

   Four of us arrived at 6:30pm. One other table with six people there and one more with two people at 7:15pm. Ordered by 6:45pm. At 8pm we were all still waiting for our meals. Excuses offered but very evident the priority was on the takeaway orders which were flowing thick and fast. Waitress even said takeaways came first as customers were abusive if meals weren’t ready at pickup time. Table of six got up and left, said they would come back and take theirs away too. Finally got ours at 8:15pm. Food okay, one chicken dish stringy and definitely just boiled. Received a discount when paying, but won’t be back.
