   The hotel itself is fine. The room was good except some noise from Federal Street - delivery trucks' reversing beepers at night and early morning. Reception staff were good. The reason for the 1 star is simply because they charged me a 1.8% Credit Card fee when I used a Debit Card. I've just had a conversation with someone from customer service who kept trying to explain it was a Credit Card fee because I booked online. I booked and paid for the room 3 weeks in advance and with a Debit Card. What it basically boils down to is that it's effectively a booking fee that they're charging but won't admit it. Last time I'll be using Sky City. Back to Adina City Life or Rydges in future.

   Excellent place to stay. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Clean tidy room with a great view over the city.. beware there is a $100 security bond on arrival wich wasn't mentioned booking through a 3rd party site (like booking, Expedia, etc) not a big deal at all but would have been nice to know of it before arrival for travel planning. Otherwise no faults would stay again and would recommend to others

   11/10 stay at Sky City! The staff at reception were incredible. We were able to check in early and they were super knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Our room was excellent, super comfortable bed, and the hotel was very quiet. Never heard our neighbours or any disruptions. We had an issue with the Aircon in the room and it was fixed in minutes by the maintenance staff. We also had a an issue with slow wifi and a booster was delivered to our room and set up within 15 minutes. Again, 11/10. The great staff really made the stay.

   The room was very nice and equipped. If it's your first visit to NZ and you arrive at 2am the instructions how to get to the breakfast room, might crush you. The hotel is very busy, as there are casinos and the famous sky tower within the complex. We truly enjoyed the breakfast menu, there's something for everybody.

   5 stars through and through! The location is top tier, right by the casino, loads of great restaurants, and plenty of shopping with walking distance. The rooms are just as impressive: massive, comfy beds and great showers. Service was excellent, food was spot on, and the price was really reasonable too. Would absolutely stay again!

   This hotel was up there with the best. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, checking in and checking out was so easy and quick. The hotel is in a perfect location for walking distance to sightseeing, bars and restaurants. If you need to treat yourself this will be the spot!

   The hotel and room were great, just the windows were not well insulated and when curtains were open, it got quite chilled in the room. Besides that, all was good. In my opinion, it was better than the pullman.

   I stay at Sky City hotel often for business. It’s a really good choice - close to the office, good dining options and comfortable rooms. Sometimes I’m welcomed back as a regular and sometimes not. The little touches of some bottled water or the occasional chocolates are lovely but when I don’t get these, I feel a little disappointed. The staff are always friendly on arrival. I have always found the rooms to be clean which is important. My stay this week had one thing that let it down. I ordered my room service breakfast to arrive in the window of 6.25 to 6.40 as I need to make sure I have time to eat, get ready and check out before I head out. At 6.40 it still hadn’t arrived, I called and was told it was on its way. However it didn’t arrive til close to 7am and looked like it had been thrown on the tray so I honestly think they had forgotten it completely. I raised this issue upon check out and received an apology but now I’m nervous about ordering the room service breakfast again when I stay next week. The other thing that is worth mentioning is the room service menu for dinner…. I had the butter chicken which was tasty but the other choices on the menu are extremely overpriced and the selection isn’t great. I’d love to have some other choices.

   From beginning to end our stay was great! I booked in same day as check in and it was a very easy process. All staff were amazing and helpful. Our room was perfect! The view was beautiful, the bed was the BEST, the bathroom was spacious and the shower was a nice big size! We really enjoyed that the TV was really helpful. It had the attractions close by, restaurants and more info! We really loved that the TV also let us chrome cast from our own phones, so we watched Disney+ and Netflix during the night!
