   Excellent service, reasonable prices and a good atmosphere. My Fish was quite dry but batter was delicious as were the salad and chips. My husband had the Steak and said it was good, not great but not bad. We ordered 2 cocktails and they were very good. We will be returning, I'm keen to try the pasta next time.

   The service was excellent, you can call a waitress over by pressing a service button at your table. The food was delicious and didn't take too long to come out. The butter chicken was good and came with rice and garlic naan. The ribs, salad and chips that my partner hot was delicious! She couldn't finish it so I had some and the meat was tender, the sauce was good and there was so much meat on each rib. Chips and salad were just as good. Our iced coffee and iced chocolate had no expense spared either. All that came to only $62! Great place

   We came for an early Father’s Day lunch and weren’t disappointed. The meals were all fantastic, especially the 400g tomahawk steak meal. The service was quick and pleasant. The only that would have made it better was being able to have a beer with it but unfortunately they were unable to serve alcohol. This didn’t detract from the experience whatsoever though. Thanks, we’ll be back!

   Birthday dine out nite. Was very impressed. Men had the tomahawk steaks that they said were cooked to perfection and delicious… well worth the money. Lamb shank was very tasty and I was able to swop out the sides for other choices. Dumplings, garlic bread and shrimp cocktail very tasty. We were able to bring our own birthday cake which was good. Great service complimented with a staff service button you can use when you want extra staff service. Great nite out. Many thanks

   Was so impressed with Blend! We booked a table of 16 of which 6 were kids and they handled our large group so well. All of the meals came out really fast, as did the drinks. Not only that but they had a full restaurant too! We brang had a birthday cake which they brought out for us which was no problem for them too. The staff were lovely, fast and attentive. The place is really nicely decorated, not run down. Bathrooms were really nice and very clean. Will absolutely be back :)

   We had put off coming here based on comments made by an employee to some reviews, but eventually curiosity got the better of us, and our Plan A down the road was still closed so here we came. And we’re glad we did. The food was great, and well-priced. My fish & chips was OK though the star was her steak, cooked perfectly rare with a great char. Her chocolate dessert wasn't too shabby either, and tasted as good as it looked. The speed of service wasn’t ideal, and finished plates sat on the table for way too long. However, we know finding hospo staff these days is challenging and the two staff there were doing the work of six. Not a complaint, more an observation and patience is required. We’ll be going back. I want that steak. EDIT: Went back for the tomahawk steak, and it was good. However this time there seemed to be no adult oversight of the wait staff and when I asked for our plates to be taken away by the giggling staff behind the counter, the faces pulled behind my back was an immature and rude response. Tip for the staff, someone's always watching...

   I really enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of the Blend Bar & Bistro. The staff were well presented, friendly and responsive. The food itself was good. The lamb shank was fairly basic, but the pana cotta dessert was a step up. The prices were quite reasonable. I think it is a good addition to the dining options available in Upper Hutt and will definitely be going back.
