   Spotlight has an amazing range of products, but my recent experience with customer service wasn’t great. I asked for 150 cm of fabric, but the staff member only cut one metre. She seemed distracted because she was asking to go on her lunch break, and I didn’t notice the mistake until I got home. When I went back, she insisted I’d asked for a metre and told her manager I “would have seen if it wasn’t right.” I did get a refund, but being told to “be careful next time” in front of other customers felt a bit humiliating. It would really help if staff confirmed fabric lengths with customers before cutting — that small step could prevent mix-ups like this. As someone who’s autistic and overwhelmed easily in shops, I rely on clear communication and trust staff to handle those details. I appreciate the refund, but I hope the store takes this feedback on board.

   Bailey at Spotlight in Wellington was absolutely brilliant!! She provided advice on the blinds and curtains we wanted, went off and found the items we needed from different parts of the store and even helped us carry our purchases out to our car! The service she gave us was exemplary and we can highly recommend her.

   ooooo my gosh they have so much they have stickers and pillows and scissors and bits of wood and rulers. but no spike studs!!! it has everything i could ever need. except for spiked studs!!!! if they had spiked studs i would quiver with excitement. they are suprisingly hard to find but oh well. one day i will go to spotlight and one day there will BE SPIKES!!!!!!

   4/5/23 A huge thank you to Rowen in the curtains department at Kaiwharawhara, Wellington. We arrived at 6.45pm, thinking closing time was 9pm. He was super efficient, helpful and gracious. Thank you Rowan, you're a credit to the store. The young ladies on the front counter were also excellent.

   I love this place! My go - to store for anything to do with fabrics, arts and crafts, party wares, home accents and more! They have tons of wonderful choices in different colors, make, and types. We have a few stores in Wellington and I’m enjoying this one. I usually go here for cushions, storage containers, home accents, aromatheraphy and cute fabrics and laces for my arts and crafts. They also have cute piñata , baking wares and accessories and more. You can customize curtains and blinds here. You can also join their VIP cards for free to get more updates and discounts. The store is packed but the staff is very friendly and helpful. They always have discounts as well. The parking lot has enough space which is very handy.
