My parents first took me to Backhouse as a child and it has remained a lifelong favourite haunt. Their recently opened (very fabulous) new showroom doesn’t disappoint. Sometimes I just pop in for a state of Wellington chat and to take in the beautiful pieces on display. I can vouch for the quality as the chest of drawers my parents bought me is still going strong several decades on!
