I have stayed here numerous times now and the staff have been consistently friendly and accomodating. The rooms and facilities are really great too. But I wanted to recognise one staff for his extra time and effort. I bought a young coconut to drink and after, wanted to open it up for its flesh. At first, I made personal attempts to crack it open but found my tools to be limited. I hesitantly asked the hotel if they had an alternate tool, to which they sent staff up to help. The staff who came offered his personal efforts. He eventually opened my coconut and I’m so grateful for his help, kindness, and generosity. He really didn’t need to do this for me and I really appreciate it!

Nice spacious apartment, but overall looking a bit tired. Fantastic location, in city centre. Paid parking on site was great. Comfy beds and sofa. Full kitchen, washing machine and dryer. Lovely service at check in/ out. Lovely breakfast. Parmila the chef made great scrambled eggs. However, no air con. Rooms were really hot. Shower tiny and needs updated.

The hotel was located in the city center. There was an entrance facing the shopping road with an escalator while the main entrance was on a side street with a drop off area. Valet parking service was provided at a charge. But it was convenient especially in the district. Beside the building was a big carpark where visitors could use by themselves. The security level was high since lift service, gym and indoor pool were all accessible with the room card only. The pool was heated and good for exercise. The size of the room was unexpectedly spacious. The balcony had a close view of the Sky Tower which added an advantage to the hotel. But there was a new building under construction and might block part of the scene. Both bathing tub and closed shower area were available in the bathroom. All electric switch positions were convenient for guests. The pantry corner also facilitate boiling water and washing fruits, etc. To better serve the persons staying in such a big room , extra luggage holders could let two or more luggage opened at one time. A clothes stand or a rail to hang the clothes would be perfect. There were many eateries and shops within walk. We would choose this hotel again.

We had a lovely room up on the 23rd floor. Very clean & spacious. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They had a valet service for the car and were more than happy to have it ready for us when we needed it. Such a convenient location for staying in the city too, everything was so close by! Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Auckland. Thanks guys for making it such an amazing stay for us.

We had a lovely stay in a great room on the 23. floor (second highest). We booked a standard king room and were delighted. The room even had a a balcony. The staff at the front desk were also very kind and helpful, as they arranged that we could check into the room before the regular time because our flight arrived early. Location was perfect, very close to everything.

This used to be our regular place to stay when coming to Auckland. Sadly ive watched Citylife get worse and worse over the past 2 decades. Now we no longer stay there. It used to be a great place. What happened?

We managed to book a room with a perfect view of the sky tower for new years fireworks display. Though the price was expensive for a night, it was all worth it. It was a lovely experience. The service we had from the reception staff was great. Clean rooms and spacious. Some issues in our room though, hence the 4stars. First the sink in one of the bathrooms was clogged and their centralised air conditioning was below par to say the least especially during summer.

Stayed here on business. Was on a Zoom call in the morning that ran 5 minutes over time, and therefore 5 minutes passed 10am check out. Reception repeatedly called the room phone and then knocked on door to usher me out. Absolutely rude, particularly when I was gone by 10:10am. Won't return. Also, no restaurant/bar on arrival.

We only stayed there one night as we came to Auckland a day early to embark on a cruise. The hotel is clean and the service was great. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable - which we really appreciated after 25 hrs of travel from Nashville. It’s a great location. Dozens of shops, restaurants, and attractions are within walking distance.
