Friendly service as always last night, however I paid for Indian hot lamb madras and not for the first time am disappointed with salty curry and no heat at all, not even medium heat. I did not enjoy my dinner.
Ordered two curry's yesterday and loved it. Great customer service will be my go to indian place.
Order ahead and it will be ready to pick up within 15 minutes. We ordered lamb korma (medium hot) and chicken tikka masala (medium hot). Pompadoms and naan are good options to go with the meal.
Very sweet despite requesting to make spicy. Got our stomach upset and made us puke. Not good quality food and not good taste at all! And to make it worst felt like we paid too much for such an awful food. Not worth the money. Been to better Indian takeaway places. Not recommended!!
Food is well priced and the chef is very underated. He is good. Really good food. I eat a heckuva lot of curry, have tried a lot of different places. Food is great. Just ordered my second meal there. I can't comment on the atmosphere as I had a take-away.
Best spot for Curry in the valley, Friendly people, generous portions, clean and tidy. Do try the Pepper Curry it is perfect
Always delicious and staff are friendly - have tried many different curry shops in the wellington region and these guys are my favourite for take away :)
Their specials and lamb dishes delicious. Also large main serving and rice same size in another container. 1 order enough for 2 meals
Been going to CurryStar for at least a couple of years. Friendly staff and perfect curries. Their Fish Madras is also quite amazing. No one else comes close to matching this superb dish!.
