   If you are passing through Kumeu, you HAVE to come to this bakery. Whenever we are out that way (we live in Mt Eden), we always stop here to get one thing and one thing only: the raspberry cheesecake brownie. A match made in heaven. The tanginess of the raspberry and vanilla cheesecake pairs perfectly with the chocolatey brownie. It’s not too sweet, or too dry. We never buy anything else so I can’t comment on the quality of the other bakery goods but that doesn’t matter.

   This place is a REAL gem. We have been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Outstanding bakery. Everything is always fresh and crispy. Cheesecakes are absolutely incredible too. Quality of ingredients is 10 out of 10.

   I don't know when this place changed owners but you should disregard any of the older reviews because the quality of the food has taken a nosedive. It still says artisnal bakery on the shop front but it's only marginally better quality than your average lunch bar, it's just priced like it's fancy. The pies look like Temu versions of what they used to be, you can tell the new owners have been shown how to make everything, then have turned around and started cutting corners anywhere they could. I bought a Steak, Cheese and Jalapeno expecting the same quality I'd had two years ago but it was nothing like it. Dry steak and minimal cheese. Gutted bro

   Sadly non of the staff were wearing masks ,as public were waiting outside to support them. I didn’t though expect the aggressive argument the owner gave and said we only one who complain and they have screen even though my wife explained your cooking and preparing food with no masks this woman did not want a bar of what we said

   Simply outstanding homemade cooking at its best. The food is amazing , you won't know what to choose when you arrive, it's all so good and not the every day rubbish you would see in most bakers around the country. Homemade chicken, blue cheese pies, spinach & feta cornish pasties and all under $5.00 & the coffee just is delicious!!
