I really enjoy my stays at Quest Albany, and having stayed there frequently, I can confidently say it’s a consistently excellent experience. The rooms have power plugs in convenient places, the curtains do an excellent job of blocking out light pollution, and the kitchen and laundry facilities truly have everything you need. The beds are super comfy and having an oven, cooktop elements, microwave, desk, washing machine, and dryer make the stay incredibly comfortable and practical and convenient. The décor is also very nice, creating a welcoming and modern atmosphere, and it truly feels like a home away from home. What really stands out most, though, is the 5-star customer service. Terry, Crystal, and Sonya go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and looked after. Their professionalism, warmth, and willingness to help made a big difference and truly elevate the experience. I highly recommend Quest Albany!

I am not recommending this hotel for any single reason. I arrived to the hotel at midnight with my 4 year old kid and they had no car park for my resertion room and simply said they don't have any park go and park in the massay university which is 1.1 km away. My kid was sleeping and i had to carry her for 1.1. Km by walking. How rude and not human. I can't even imagine. How insensible the opertor was. I am not recommending for any person this apartment. I am truely dissapointed.

Nice clean quiet room with comfy bed. Can’t go wrong really. The only thing was the shower was either blocked or slow draining (the shower beautifully powerful so a lot of water to remove). This gave me the creeps a little. Friendly, welcoming staff and all in a very good location. Although close to the main roads, the noise was minimal.

Stayed here for a tennis tournament as the tennis center is very close. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with 3 people. Our room was on the top floor, was spacious with a balcony which had lovely views. Both bedrooms had a tv and one had an ensuite bathroom. Beds were comfy and it was quiet. The kitchen had everything including a full size fridge which was good for 3 people. Parking was free outside business hours and the weekend which worked for us. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly. Noting that the room is not serviced every day especially not weekends, bit when we asked if the rubbish could be removed they did it promptly. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would come again.

Clean, tidy, well appointed rooms with everything you could require for a short stay in a nice, quiet location. The late check-in process and arranging access to secured parking was not a problem. Interactions with Jim, Dee and housekeeping were always friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay, will definitely be back.

We have stayed at the Quest Albany twice in the last two months & both times it was an excellent stay. The area is relatively quiet but still a quick drive to North Shore central or even the city central! The rooms are always really clean and well equipped with everything you could need for a short or long stay. Special mention to Sonia for all of her help in rescheduling our booking with short notice when we were flooded in in the Far North and had no way to make our check-in; she was kind enough to reschedule our stay for the following weekend with no extra fees. All the front desk staff are so lovely & helpful. Our new go-to hotel when staying in Auckland!

Albany is my favourite Quest of all time. Takapuna is second because it has the best parking facilities, a bigger TV (sadly no sky sport, but there are movies on demand) and perhaps a little more of that new building smell. However, Albany wins because of the friendly Quest people, a sky sport channel and a nice touch with the travel pack tissues. The Wellington and Auckland city properties are all rather sad by comparison. Big wins for me is a fridge with a proper freezer compartment. The plunger coffee sachet is a bit of a gimmick but it was novel the first time I saw it. After hours check in at Albany is easy as. I see a few of reviews refer to bad service. Your experience is unfortunate and I’m sorry for your situation. I’ve had only excellent service on several visits so can only conclude that these are rare exceptions coinciding with unfortunate circumstances. This is the best place at this price point.
