    NEW COMPLAINT 19/12/2025 I called to ask about NZ driver’s licence requirements and spoke with Anika and Anita (hope I got the name right). Neither could give a clear or correct explanation, and the service was rude and unprofessional. Anika even said β€œOh my God” to me in a way that made me feel like I was an idiot, so I called her out and asked to be put through to someone else. Anita too gave me completely wrong information. When I asked questions to clarify, they couldn’t explain and kept a rude tone. Really disappointing experience and honestly very unprofessional. I visited this branch on a Monday afternoon to convert my driver’s license. Although the place became quite busy, only two counters were open. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing interaction with one of the staff membersβ€”a Chinese male employee at the counter. He was unhelpful, gave sarcastic responses when I asked questions, and overall displayed rude behavior. There were no greetings or basic courtesies such as a thank you, and I felt humiliated during the exchange, especially with other customers in line behind me. Additionally, I found it difficult to understand him due to unclear speech and a strong accent. I believe it's important that front-line staff communicate clearly and treat customers with respect and professionalism. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. No one should feel disrespected or embarrassed when seeking assistance. I kindly request that this matter be reviewed to ensure better customer service in the future.

    I visited AA Westgate yesterday because I had an issue with my rego, and I should say one of their customer service representatives, Alex, did a great Job. She not only greeted me very well but also gave a knowledgeable response to my query. Once again, thanks, Alex, and keep up the good work.

    A customer booked a pre-purchase inspection with us, but unfortunately, we couldn’t find the vehicle key at the time. The inspector had two other vehicles to inspect and had to leave after finishing his scheduled jobs. Afterwards, we found the key, and the inspector kindly advised me that if we found it, we could contact AA to re-arrange the inspection. Today, I contacted AA, but the manager informed me that there would be no refund to the customer and that we would have to pay again to rebook the inspection. That means there are being charged twice for one vehicle. Please don’t just tell me this is company policy β€” this really doesn’t reflect a fair or humanised service standard in New Zealand. I hope AA can review this situation and provide a reasonable solution.

    Last week, my mom and I went to the AA to handle some car-related matters. We happened to meet one of your colleagues named Josh. He first explained the details of the process to us, then guided us to the area where we needed to fill out the forms. Josh patiently explained each question and helped us understand many things we were unsure about, providing clear solutions to our problems. We were very impressed by his excellent service attitude and patience, which was much better than what we’ve experienced at many other AA locations. We arrived at around 4 p.m., near the end of a long workday, yet Josh still took the time to carefully explain everything to us without rushing. When we walked out of the AA, my mom told me that we must make sure to thank Josh properly. Because of our busy schedules, we forgot to do it right away, and only today my mom reminded me again. So, we just want to say a big thank you to Josh for his help. Next time, if we have any car-related matters, we will definitely go to Josh again and recommend our friends to find him too.

    Waited time is very long - Almost took one and half hour. It is not my first time. Been there a few time lately. The same result. Just need to retake photo for my driver licensing as instructed by VTNZ due to having problem with their internal recoding system. All I needed is just to represent a letter provided by VTNZ, where clearly stated that take photographic evidence of me either NZ driver license or Passport doesn't need to be current to show the agent. I showed the agent my Photo of NZ driver licence, my temporary licensing, my employee ID, my bank statement, none of them were accepted to validate my appearance. So I spent hours of waiting and ended up justifying my appearance with the agent. Then I went to VTNZ Henderson, just took 5 minute wait and just presented letter provided by VTNZ and took the photo. VERY SIMPLE PROCESS, SERVICE STATFICTION, WIN WIN FOR ALL PARTIES.

    Excellent customer service by AA advisor Maureen. Went there to convert my overseas license (DL5) and my theory test. Maureen patiently explained the procedure and processed the documents very quickly. Yes wait times are a bit long, especially on weekends Note: If you're there for a license conversion, ensure you have the right forms and documents (colored copies and Identification papers). Staff are very polite, especially the lady (never got her name) assisting everyone while they were sitting in the waiting area.

    Very disappointed experience. I came in today at 4pm and waited, the staff approached me later and asked me to leave said "because they already cut off the queue" right before me arrived. I was the last customer. I asked if she can consider to help me as they close at 5pm but she said no. If anyone else fully scheduled during the day(busy) and has no time to waste, don't come to this branch. I'm sure you're better off at somewhere else happily

    Went to AA Westgate yesterday with my 16yo. Absolutely no customers service from any of the staff members. All are slow & inefficient. The only person that deserves a praise was Red security lady. She was friendly, helpful and wear a smile on the face. We need to wait over an hour just to get to counter. Couldn't do anything was turn back home. Told to come back tomorrow.They hopeless and didn't give us any service.
