Lovely eatery with intriguing menu options. I had the porchetta and koulouri, I'd had neither before but am now a fan. Took a cheeky bite before thinking to take a photo. Wanted to go back and try the lamb skewer and pita but didn't have time while in town. Definitely keen to return
Soooo good. Highly recommend this place. Vide is chilled, but modern. Large area, seating indoor and outside. Food was outstanding. Display looked amazing also, I could have had a bite form each thing!! Spiced orange chai latte do good. Service was fantastic. 10/10. Worth a go
The thw scrambled eggs with salmon roe were delightful. The chives, salty pops of the roe paired perfectly with the koulouri (similar to a Greek bagel). This atmosphere was homey yet sophisticated.
Definitely worth coming too. Delicious food and the gluten free bread was amazing. Service was very friendly. You will probably have to wait for a table.
Absolutely divine lunch at August. Third time coming here and have never been disappointed. The lamb skewers and the butter beans were a hit. Can also strongly recommend the Istanbul Eggs. I love that the menu changes seasonally so there is always something new to try!
Beautiful interiors - minimalistic with a relaxing atmosphere. Good sound quality (wasn’t noisy even when busy). Service was great! Cabinet food looked phenomenal (we took a creme brûlée donut home with us!). We ordered x2 Istanbul eggs & toast. Lovely presentation, was yummy, although perhaps missing a little seasoning? Overall an enjoyable experience. Would return when looking for coffee & cabinet foods.
Everything we had was phenomenal. The cheese cake was so good we ordered extra. Have it with the yogurt. The staff were great. Lisa is particularly awesome. Definitely going back.
On a recent visit to Wellington, my husband and I fell in love with the delicious Bombalini's that August serves. So much so that next time, we will be grabbing a boxful to take home! Oh, the service is great, and the coffee is awesome too ;)
