Amazing coffee, I'm very fussy and the coffee was perfect. The best breakfast we've had out in a long time. My partner had the chicken waffles which he gave 10/10, I had the classic eggs and bacon on toast, hashbrown, tomato, bacon and sourdough toast and I added avocado. We have already got plans to come back soon!
Stopped off this morning for a coffee and also a banana muffin which I can highly recommend. Asked for a latte in a glass got that. Excellent coffee by the way. A great atmosphere here and if you’re smart you’ll get here first thing in the morning you’ll get all the sun on the table by the window which we were lucky to have. There is a great atmosphere here and we would highly recommend anyone to come. People who own the place and work here are very friendly and helpful especially about the bus service because we need to get into the city. Check out the photos for the menu and they do have specials as well. They recommend the cheese scones so next time we’ll try one. Regular hours and looks like a good spot in summer. But just as good in winter quite cozy.
I recently visited Cafe Figg with my family and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance. The croissant was flaky and buttery, the filo was perfectly crisp, the panini was filled with flavorful ingredients, and the corn fritters were a delicious twist on a classic dish. Each item was prepared with care and attention to detail. The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. I would highly recommend Cafe Figg to anyone looking for delicious food and top-notch service. Five stars all around!
Lovely Cafe, serving a great range of food and good coffee. The chicken feta philo was a fantastic light meal.
Went for brunch today and all 3 of us ordered fried chicken and waffles and it was absolutely delicious!!! The staff were very welcoming and the service was on point and really fast. Will definitely be back!
Really loved the food here. Had the Bacon and Eggs, Truffle Omelette (this was super duper good!), Bacon and Avo Benedict, Mushroom Bruschetta (super good!!) And the Fried Chicken Waffles. Also ordered a Build Your Own Toastie. And then for dessert, the Lamington and the Chocolate Cake. Not a single dish disappointed. Service was great too! Thank you!
Petone: Now open Friday and Saturday night for dinner. We enjoyed our meals, very tasty, service was excellent. This well-known cafe is a usual brunch and lunch place, humming majority of the time. The chicken and mushroom risotto, the other diner had a burger. Both dishes were well presented and filling.
What a delicious lunch. Staff were helpful and friendly. The outdoor area was basic but serviceable. The meal was full of taste despite my mushroom meal being vegan and gluten free. The chef may have removed the allergens but he kept in the taste! My friend really enjoyed her pumpkin filo pastry. Prices were also reasonable at $22 and $18.
