   We are disappointed with our service here. When dropping our labradoodle for a groom we indicated we just wanted his face trimmed and knots dematted. The conversation was they would brush the knots and call us if they could not get any knots out and they could cut them out or we would discuss what to do. He didn’t have an excessive amount of know as he is brushed regularly. We were not called to discuss dematting just that he was ready for collection. None of his knots has been brushed out. We called multiple times and left a message to try and discus this with no return to the calls. We will not be returning here.

   We noticed that the old groomers had gone and there was a new grooming and day care business set up (Pet House), so we decided to give it another go. We are SO glad we did!! The staff were absolutely lovely, super friendly and our dogs felt instantly at ease. Their grooms were great and they even managed to get their teeth cleaned and nails trimmed without issue! Plus they have some really cool dog clothes, and we love that the dogs can run around afterwards and aren’t kept in cages. We’ve booked them in for regular grooms through till Christmas!

   We noticed that the old groomers had gone and there was a new grooming and day care business set up (Pet House), so we decided to give it another go. We are SO glad we did!!    Ignore previous good feedback on Kohi Dogs Grooming Salon as the ownership has changed, resulting in an appalling service. All we wanted was for our border collie's 50mm coat to be groomed to take out a few knots and matting. What we got was an abomination. This wretched animal appeared with a rough buzz cut to his body, with patches right down to the skin (see the before and after photos). His head and tail were left untouched and there were still some obvious knots left. My astonished wife was told this was an appropriate 'summer' trim for the breed and was charged $100. She was so taken by surprise she paid for this mutilation. We subsequently confirmed that all available literature on border collies states they should not be trimmed, so this botched grooming reflects poorly on Kohi Dogs Grooming Salon's knowledge and ability. People like this should not be rewarded with customers. We strongly urge everyone to stay away from these people in order to avoid the bad experience we had.

   We took our Lulu the Cavoodle to Kohi Dogs yesterday for a groom. I always enjoy walking her around to Kohi. I was disappointed to hear the lovely Lucy had left but the new owner was just as lovely and super friendly. She took time to ask how I’d like her groomed and inquired about teeth and nails. She gave Lulu the best hair cut she’s ever had! I know Lulu was awfully untidy before (lock-down dreads!) but she’s come out looking not only beautifully fluffy, clean and soft, but also with a designer hair do! Her eyes and face especially look so great. I haven’t seen her looking this good since she was a little puppy. Thank you Kohi Dogs
