   We live in an area with no shortage of high-end dog groomers. Cindy, the owner-operator of Dazzling Paws, is in a humble little spot I’d driven past for years in the Orakei Basin. We first went to Cindy after a bad experience - our pupper Wilbur ended up with a nasty rash from clippers that hadn't been sharpened and caused "clipped burn". Ouch. He has woolly fur and needs regular grooming, so we were nervous about trying somewhere new ..but after reading the reviews and seeing that Dazzling Paws had sustained their business for many years in a pretty tough area for standards, we thought let's give them a go. And WOW. Cindy did (and continues to do!) an incredible job. She knows exactly how to handle his coat, and he always comes home looking and feeling amazing. Wilbur is now a regular with Dazzling Paws and I just couldn't be happier. Another absolute highlight...His teeth. Cindy offers teeth cleaning for around $35-50, and the results are insane (no more ridiculous anesthetic vet cleaning costs)... We also have another rescue dog, Teddy, who can be sensitive about being handled. His coat is far less high maintenance but we worried how he’d cope, but he is always completely fine with Cindy and her team. That speaks volumes. Could not recommend Cindy and the team at Dazzling Paws Orakei Basin more highly. Exceptional service, genuine care, and phenomenal results... all hiding behind the most unassuming little shopfront. A true local treasure.

   I have been taking my King Charles Spaniel to Cindy for a long time now and have been really happy with the grooms, consistently good and reliable every time which I appreciate. Not only really satisfied with the grooming but also the customer service which is always so lovely and welcoming. Cindy loves your dog like they were her own. Highly recommend

   Outstanding grooming service as always! We have been taking our dog Ozzy to Cindy for the last 3 years. She’s very attentive to details and always gives Ozzy a perfect groom. He always smells great, looks awesome and relaxed when we pick him up. We know that Ozzy is in safe hands which is why we keep taking him there!

   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Cindy groomed my dogs with such great care! I requested for their ears and nails to be trimmed, and I was most amazed by how they managed to scale my dog’s teeth, they went from half black to pearly white! My dogs came home happy, clean, and beautifully groomed. Sometimes, as owners, we can be a bit particular about what we want for our dogs, but I truly respect the knowledge, skill, and care that Dazzling Paws puts into their work. They clearly love what they do and always have my dogs’ best interests at heart. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of them!

   After almost 3 hours, my shitzu 8 months old, came home with her hair cut around the neck. Terrible grooming quality. Never will return again. It cost $125 and she wanted to charge more for extra service, but in the website there was no price. She didn't said anything about cut my dog's hair.

   Cindy and Jose are amazing, I’ve been taking my dog to see them ever since her previously loved groomer retired and they have absolutely been amazing. She always comes out looking divine and smelling delicious. Cindy pays careful attention to what you ask and she definitely delivers. The perfect location for a quick walk pre or to stop and have some lunch whilst your fluff gets pampered.

I can tell that she is treated with care and respect, since she is happy to see them and always looks and smells wonderful when I come to collect her.    Undoubtedly the best groomers we have used!! Dazzling Paws did an amazing job on our Spoodle and Labradoodle. This was my first visit and Cindy listened carefully as to how I would like the grooms to be. The finished grooms were beyond our expectations! I will be a returning customer and recommend to all! I want to politely address another review regarding the day that Cindy's hand was bitten. I can confirm that Cindy was indeed hurt that morning. My appointment was 12 noon and was informed both my dogs would be ready by 3.30 pm. I was contacted later to inform me that they would be ready much later - at 5.30 pm - which I thought was a long time but understandable as our 45 kg white standard poodle-sized Labradoodle has a curly thick coat like a sheep! When I collected them at 5.30 pm, Cindy's right hand was stiff, swollen and punctured from a bite earlier that day from another dog. She had started on the Labradoodle when her hand started to seize up on her but had battled through the pain to finish them both off rather than send them home half done (which would have been fine with me). So to the person who arrived annoyed that her appointment (and any others) that day had been cancelled at very short notice, those were my two dogs there. They took 5 1/2 hours to complete because of the dog bite but despite that wound, Cindy was dedicated enough to complete the job to her best ability. Wonderful job Dazzling Paws and I hope you are feeling much better Cindy!
