I took my Toyota RAV4 twice this year. First for yearly service and second time for recall inspection which itself was done properly. On the first visit (service) I ask them do they provided wash and vacuum they told me they can only vacuum the car. Surprised on pick up they told me “our vacuum is broken” and on the second visit (recall) I drop off car and reminded them last time my car did not get vacuumed. The reception lady said this time they will make sure it’s done. I received a message on my phone saying the car is ready. I went to pick up but what happened next was extremely disappointing car was again never vacuumed. Toyota New Lynn branch destroyed any trust we had, also now I am unsure what else they have not done, which they said they did. Unprofessional we won’t be returning and I strongly recommend anyone who comes here to double-check including pricing before agreeing to anything.

2/5 stars, great entertainment for a bland Monday Did their job well, just took their time and didn’t stick to planned timing even tho the lady when I booked said it would be exactly that because that’s the only times the valet where offered During booking I was told the only valet pickup time was 8:30 so was early for that reason. 10AM rolls around and I have to call them and hassle them to pick the car up. Lady over the phone during booking said there was no shuttle van for New Lynn Toyota… When they came to get my car they parked a shuttle van in a 1 hour parking and I saw the parking man walk by a couple times…. lol During booking I was told that the car would be dropped off at 2pm and I specifically said it needed to be back with me by 3pm or I’d have to have the service done on another day. 3pm rolls around and nothing. 3:30 I called them complaining because I was stood out in the cold waiting… When I get in the car they didn’t even put a new service sticker inside it so ended up having to go right back to them to get that sorted… It got to the point around about the time where they seemingly forgot to pickup my car where I just wasn’t mad anymore. I was that next level up of pissed where you just laugh at everything happening. Great bit of fun for a bland Monday. Had it been any other day i would have lost the plot at the lovely reception lady… Seriously need to talk to the bookings people and or JUST STICK TO THE TIMES TOLD AND REQUESTED!!!! Wouldn’t recommend going unless you absolutely have too. You’re more likely to see Santa clause than the team here…

Extremely dissatisfied with the service received. To begin with, the reception staff was consistently rude, displaying impatience as if serving customers was a burden. It was frustrating to have to explain the problem four times to four different people. Despite their lack of attention, they failed to diagnose the issue and still charged for their so-called “diagnosis.” This experience has left me thoroughly disappointed, my car was still under warranty, and I specifically mentioned a noise from the front suspensions when driving over speed bumps. However, they couldn’t detect the noise, even after three mechanics went on a test drive. Moreover, they failed to resolve other issues as well. I’ve escalated the matter to Toyota, but their response has been equally unhelpful, as apparently, these branches operate as franchises. It’s truly frustrating.

Went there for service as it's so close to me, despite of bad reviews from friends. Was rushing away that day then realised that they only gave my car a vacumming but no wash done. Called the call centre the second day and was told a quick wash should be a part of the service and they're going to "investigate". I waited for 1 week patiently but nothing happened. So went back in person and asked the front desk, and was told they were not like Henderson, and they didn't have the facilities to do a quick wash!? So you charge me the whole service fee but couldn't deliver the same standard Toyota service?? And you didn't think you should have informed me in advance?? I always used Toyota services, but this time is something new. Makes people wonder if any service you've got there actually meet the promised standard, or they might have skipped a few things just because they don't have the facilities?
