I was harassed by an elderly gentleman in this store. He stood in front of me and I couldnt leave, and the attendant who was watching me and listening in did nothing. Please, if you see someone being harassed again, go over, interrupt, and ask if theres anything either person needs help with. If you sense tension, call the police quietly. Please please please step in if someone else is being talked to when they dont want to be. Your intervention as the person who runs the store keeps the customers safe, and can be the reason that people dont follow through on their intentions. This man was repeatedly asking me to go home with him. I was very clear and very loud when I said no thanks, I was shopping and I had plans for the day. The attendant was watching and listening, but did nothing. In the future it would be much safer for the volunteers to be trained for these kinds of situations, for themselves and for the customers. For anyone else reading this, keep our community safe and watch out for each other. Thats how we know we can stay safe.

Iām truly shocked by my experience today. I rushed in to donate a few brand new cloths to the shop during my working hours. It was 4.10pm, their closing time is 5pm. The young Indian lady working in the shop was already vacuuming the floor despite a few customers are still in the shop. She was very unpleasant when she saw me. With no smile she told me that I should not donate at their closing time. We debated over their closing time, anyhow I dropped my items as I did not have the time to make another trip. It was a very unpleasant experience for donating something to help other people!!!

This place is terrible. Stood at the door knocking for 5 minutes while the clueless lady at the desk stared at me without opening up during normal store hours. Don't pick up the phone either so just don't waste your time

Used to be in my top choices but this one too has lost the Op in Opshop? Its spreading. Less stuff to rummage (they're assuming they know what we want) and prices hiked up, lost its cool manager, its character, its bargains ..

The staff are really nice and friendly, with good listening skills. The shop has a really relaxed vibe.

Prices way too high. Yes its going to community put they need to understand your target market are those of middle class and in the poverty zone... rich people arent shopping for used items. The indian women wouldnt really negotiate on prices.. the asian women very kind the european women with glasses very kind aswell... my message is if you want a good deal try and avoid the shop if the indian lady is working.

Tried to donate some items... was put onto a woman nameed Fran about pick up... was interrogated, not allowed to speak, and talked to in a manner that was unbecoming of someone that works in customer service.... maybe she was having a bad day but really inappropriate to take that out on the public. Not a good look Red Cross.

It's OK, the occasional great item can be found here. Grumpy, cynical lady on Friday does nothing for the op shop vibe.
