   A very nice and safe bay. Got puhutukawa trees at the bay, so you can picnic under the shadow. There are toilets but seems not enough space while many people there. Nice shallow water for little kids. It is the best picnic spot along Clarks Beach with heaps of parking. There are two parking lots with toilets, but those two with only have very few parking spots and picnic area. Better drive to the very end of the road to Torkar Bay Reserve to spend your whole relaxing day. By the way, there is a playground as well. Lots of fun. Really suitable for whole family spend a whole day.
