A really lovely place for doggy walks and doggy swims. Not deep, clean water, safe with no current. Highly recommended.

Great spot to walk the dogs off lead. The area is suffering from a lot of erosion but looks like the council are working on it.

Ideal for dogs and owners on a nice warm day. Small walk till you get to the stream and beach area. Very safe and open space for dogs to play. Probably the best dog area in Auckland!

Great do beach. Best when tide is in, but even with it out the pups love it.

A great doggo beach! Good little car park and a nice short but interesting walk to the main beach where the dogs can run. It’s nice and safe and far away from the road. A little doggo haven It also has a long drop and bins for dog bags

Awesome off-lead dog beach! Have been at all time of the day when the tide is both in and out and has been great everytime and offers a different experience for you and your dogs each time! Great in summer and also good to visit in winter too. There is limited parking here when the beach is busy but havent had problems parking here yet. Bit of a drive rhrough curvy roads to get there but definitely worth it!

Dog Paradise! Off-lead beach for dogs to roam, swim and play. There are always dozens of dogs here (even during the week) so make sure you're comfortable with dogs, and that your dog is social and behaves off-lead if you are considering coming. There is limited parking and is a very popular spot. Not the best beach for swimming (lots of debris and very shallow for a long while out) but good for wading and paddling with your dog.

Best off leash dog spot in Auckland. Hands down! The dogs love the walk through the bush to the massive stream that meets the ocean. The water is warm, the people are friendly, and the dogs are plentiful. We always have the best days there. Parking is tricky when it’s busy. Wash your feets on the way in and out to protect the Kauri.
