   I have been looking for some golf set for my son, I called through and spoke to Will. He was very friendly and actually walked around the store while I eaited on the phone to try find the set I was after, he didn't find any at the time, but said he checked and other stores had the set I was after. So that was that. About 20 minutes later, Will called me back and said he found a set for me and that he'd keep it aside if I was still interested, HELL YEAH I was! Thanks for the great service Will. My son loved his birthday present.

   The team in the store are super helpful and had all the time in the world for me. They did an honest fitting and listened to my feedback and budget. Came away with some nice trade in clubs, which saved me having to buy new. The fact I could try a second hand pair before buying was actually very useful. Thanks for your help guys. Will be back :)

   In response to the CEO’s reply Hi Rhys, Thanks for bringing to my attention that my husband Warren had unknowingly used my account when he wrote a review of his recent experience at your store. Just so you know, we have our emails logged in on both of our phones. I’ll definitely get him to leave another review under his account. I’m very gutted and disgusted by your response regarding his experience which is extremely condescending and unprofessional, especially considering you are the CEO of the company. Not only did you fail to address the fact of your unwelcoming atmosphere/culture at the store, you launched a personal attack on my husband/your loyal customer for leaving you a one star review. If you bother to look through all your low reviews left by unhappy customers, you will see majority of them complained about the poor services and arrogance at your Newton store. Clearly it has not been addressed as nothing has improved. You have showed obvious bias towards him in your response saying ‘just want to TRY every shaft we had for fun’, and accusing him of wasting people’s time etc. he could have gone to another golf shop to try different shafts for fun, and to waste their time…did it not cross your mind that he genuinely keen to buy something from your business? Which he did and been buying for years. Everyone is different, some people do take longer to make decisions, if you think spending longer time before making a purchase is a waste of time please leave a sign out informing people who take longer to shop not to shop here. In your Bio you said “For me numbers are important but golf is about people, not numbers, what suits one person doesn't suit another” I hope you can really honor your words in the future. Thank you again for your response, and I’m glad to know that I certainly will not set foot in your store and my husband will not spend a dime at your company ever again. ———————————————————————————— Went into the shop today with my brother to buy a new 3 wood and some wedges and asked him to come help me out. I just bought the Qi35 with upgraded shaft a week ago for $1500. At first the guy says " I thought it was only you testing out some clubs" but my brother said no he's also after a new driver, little awkward but we carried on. We were changing out shafts and Specs a bit as you would when you want the perfect fit and spending a few thousands dollars. Hour and a half goes by and he says listen guys you have been hitting balls for an hour and a half now and I need to get back to work so not sure if we should keep doing this. My brother obviously extremely upset says to me infront of him this is why he hates coming here and rather goes to the club room. I'm an okay golfer off a 4h cap and he's a +3 and plays for Auckland so we like to play around with shafts and heads to optimize our ball flights, speed etc. I have read reviews above with managers asking time and date etc. This happened today ( 10th of June ) between12 and 13:30. Also the guy in the bay next to us arrived 5 minutes after us and we were 2 in 1 Bay. No one told him to leave. Extremely disappointing as I have always liked Callaway and Taylor made.

   Awesome experience overall. I have been fitted multiple times by Brendan since starting golf and he never disappoints. He took the time to run through my whole bag and fit even giving me swing/stance tips which have helped greatly. My irons, driver, wedges and putter have all been custom fitted through Brendan and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Top service and even better knowledge of the game A+++
