   We had our son's 1st Birthday at the spray pool, food organized through Kilbirnie cafe who were a delight to deal with, very accommodating and had all the basics a kids birthday requires. The spring rolls were our favorite.

   Cafe was short staffed and staff were clearly stressed. Due to staffing they were unable to allow orders from the menu e.g. hot chips. What we ordered from the cabnit part of the order then forgotten and we ended up getting a refund. Not a great experience.

   After having management go out of their way last year to get me to post a better review back again and have to say was in there when it was quiet and had to ask when I was getting my food which they had completely forgotten if it was a busy time I would have accepted it but there were only two tables of people at the time and it was a toasted sandwich which all they have to do is unwrap and place in the press less than impressed once again it seems every time I'm here due to sports events I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth couldn't tell you if the coffee has improved as I went somewhere else for that after last year's coffees that tasted like burnt bum hole

   Shocking cabinet selection. “See our brunch menu” - there is no menu, just the overpriced, small portion, cabinet options. Of which there’s two cabinets running and yet you could easily just half fill one with what’s on offer. The coffee was at least warm….

   This is the worst cafe I have ever been in Wellington Region. On 15/04/23, the brista who was on a black tank was rude to me. She took my order and the attitude she showed me was terrible. I put on cash on the counter and she said : "THIS IS NOT ENOUGH!" She didnt even tell me how much was the order before she said that. In terms of the food there, please take a look of the coffee. Both the present and the taste was awful.

   Had a bad experience today. Did not feel welcomed to the cafe to start with how the person at the counter was communicated. Completely forgot my order and I had to remind after a big wait. Not even an apology for the delay. Also I feel the food is over priced for a pool cafe where mainly kids comes for training.

   Open till 5pm but kitchen closes at 3:30? Three staff standing around….. surely with all the hungry school kids coming in before swimming you might consider keeping it open a bit longer?

   Kilbirnie Cafe Poolside is now our regular Saturday morning coffee spot when the kids come swimming at WRAC. Serving Flight Coffee, the cafe also boasts a good selection of cabinet food with in house daily baked goods and a brunch menu. They cater for birthday parties held in the splash pool area.
