Great place. Character. They must of been smoking at the bottom of the stairs cos the smell drifted up. Friendly staff.
Had our mid winter work function here the other night. The space itself is perfect for a function and pre-event communication was great. However we note that we were left to wait over 30 minutes to be let in to the venue to set up which cut it fine with our event, also holding up our photobooth vendor. It was communicated someone would be there to let us in by 4:30 and it was just after 5pm when someone arrived. We also note that there was no soap in the bathrooms and some of my colleagues who drank spirit shots said they tasted watered down. Also we were told on the night that we would need to fork out $250 for security which was not communicated before hand. In the booking form it stated security is required for special events. This was not a good thing to communicate the night of especially if you are working on a budget. Besides that, the venue is really well suited for a function, it is a shame though because a lot of stresses and issues on the night could have been avoided.
Very cool place, if you have a drink you can play pool, or other games they have there, nice spot.
The pizza is really good value and quality. The $6 drinks menu is also very good. Would recommend!
Food is a 2, but the atmosphere and vibe around is a good 4. We tried nearly all the pizzas on the menu and felt most of the basic ones were just over killed with cheese. More cheese than base which made it slightly unbearable. Other pizzas were slightly better such as the chilli chicken. Chips are good. In terms of what's good there, you can play pool and darts in a social environment. Would say go for a good time, not a hungry time...
The coolest man cave ive ever been in!! Great place for work functions or just to chill out with mates.
Friendly staff, excellent venue, large beer selection, 6 pool tables upstairs, great fries! Foodwise, the Crunchy Chicken was not bad but the rest of the food was very average and just lacked flavour. Jalapeno Poppers were quite disappointing - didn't taste like Jalapeno..
