   The Hour Glass is most definitely the best AD to visit in Auckland. The staff here are quite professional and being a younger customer they did not discriminate. Dean is extremely knowledgeable and professional even though he was a trainee when I first met him! He helped me with choosing a watch and it was always a great experience being served by him. For the younger buyers out there, don’t be afraid to pop into The Hour Glass! They are friendly and will answer any question you may have.

   I don’t normally right bad reviews but this is necessary. After much patience on trying to acquire the timepieces I want, keyword ‘want’. It seems to have fallen on deaf ears with the sales team here. I have happily spent $120k+ with Hour Glass Auckland over the last 1-2years purchasing ‘off the shelve’ watches for family & myself in hopes that I would be eligible for the watches I desire. They kept selling me you the pitch of “if you purchase this timepiece it’ll help towards the one you desire”, always insisting they’d prioritise me. But they never pulled through & the motto quickly turned into “I can’t guarantee it but we will try our best”. I personally feel that the sales team seem to favour a particular demographic of people who they choose to prioritise. After good spend and loyalty, it’s beyond me on how they choose their clientele.. I definitely will not be wasting a dollar or my time here going forward and sadly am ashamed I ever did. I hope others aren’t fooled. I don’t believe it’s a supply issue. And I hope any young individual, who like myself hoped to start great relationship in hopes of getting the watches they want also be cautious.

   Had a wonderful experience buying a Day-Date 40 for my husband birthday gift. Looking forward to buying another my dream watch through the boutique to me also. Thanks in particular to Paula all her help. She is super friendly, kind and very reliable. Strongly recommend to get Paula’s help if thinking of visiting The Hour Glass. She will go out of her way to get what you really want. I would highly recommend visiting this store first if you are in Auckland. Anywhere after this may be a let down for you.
