   Hold on, not so fast! You've got to read this if you're looking for an engagement ring... I've just gone through the engagement process myself, including purchasing an engagement ring. Being that I'm the kind of person which has always liked getting the best quality products I can afford, I did extensive research on the details of ring and diamond quality, and where the best value is offered in NZ. Believe me, it's not in mass-produced chain jewellery stores... In my search, I happened to discover Diamonds.co.nz, run by Paul, a qualified gemologist, and his wife. The more I read, the more I was impressed with what I saw. They offered custom-built designs of significantly higher quality than any chain jewellery store I had visited could offer at the same price. In my case, that included 18 karat gold settings and diamonds of significantly higher cut quality and inclusion limitations. I decided to take the plunge and place an order on a solitaire-style ring with Diamonds.co.nz. And WOW, what an amazing process it has been! From the moment the order was placed and the almost instantaneous response, right through to updates on the progress and receiving the final product, I was treated with first-class service. I never felt like I was dealing with a cold business, it felt like dealing with friends. Paul was always willing to answer questions, and even made an extra effort to get the ring completed before my proposal date. And the ring... My goodness. It was every bit as good as it appeared on their website, and better. Having visited many chain stores and seen a number of solitaire engagement rings, I can positively say the quality of this ring was by far the best out of any I'd seen, anywhere near the same price point. Breathtakingly beautiful, and finished to absolute perfection, my Fiancé and I have absolutely no regrets! In addition to this, Paul provided a complimentary diamond ring valuation report, processed via the standards of an independent organisation. And unsurprisingly, the valuation turned out to be almost double the price I paid for the ring... Epic! If you have any hesitation about purchasing from Diamonds.co.nz, allow me to settle you. You will struggle to find better quality and value than this anywhere in New Zealand.    Everything about this experience was perfect. Being able to choose the diamond and compare prices of stones, metals and settings online is pressure free and gives you plenty of time to choose exactly what you want. I arranged to collect at the airport which was a smooth process and to top it off my fiance absolutely loves her ring. After finding Diamonds.co.nz I picked up the phone and talked to Claudia, she was friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed which was the exact opposite of the experience I had when looking in jewelry stores. Furthermore you get way better value for money than the stores. I cannot recommend them enough!
