Don’t believe the lifetime warranty sales pitch…..I received a jacket as a gift, it’s a 2-part fleece and shell and is a great jacket Unfortunately, the zipper failed at the bottom and now won’t hold in place and after ringing the call centre I was told no warranty without a receipt and was directed to a separate repair centre. I mean who keeps a receipt for the lifetime of a jacket To me, this seems unfair and wrong

Have visited this store on multiple occasions, and their customer service never falters. Keegan was super attentive and answered all of my questions with a great level of knowledge. The girl with the glasses was also super helpful and friendly, also suggesting products that fit the needs of what I was looking for. Thank you team, I will continue to be a loyal customer here.

Disappointed by the service – not the first time When my friend and I walked into the store, there was only one other customer – a man looking at shoes. The staff weren’t busy at all, but none of the three staff members greeted us or even acknowledged us when we entered. I had to approach one of them to ask if they had the Summit pants I was looking for. A male staff member finally came to help, but with a clearly annoyed look on his face. After checking the stock, he came back, and I asked about another model. He looked at me and sighed, which made me feel very unwelcome. Later, my friend decided to buy a different pair of pants. When he went to the counter, the female staff there looked at him with no smile and didn’t show any customer service. When we tried to ask her something, she just walked away. During payment, the machine froze and we had to ask her to reset it – she looked at us again with the same unfriendly expression and rolled her eyes. It’s disappointing to receive this kind of treatment at The North Face, a brand known for quality products and professionalism. Staff should be trained in basic customer service and taught not to treat customers this way. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a negative experience at this city branch – it’s actually the third time. That’s why I feel the need to leave this review.

I saw a women‘s down vest on your NZ official website the other day and wanna have a closer look and try it on. I went to this store today. There was two staff members standing behind the counter, the store was quiet as there was only one or two customers in there, I smiled at the staff but didn’t get any response, they didn’t come to me or ask me if I need any assistance, so I have to walk to that lady and said I was looking for something and told her the name of it. The lady firstly said she never heard of it before, I showed her the product listed on their website, then she said the website I showed her is not their NZ official website (she just say like that straightaway even without having a look at my phone), after she had a closer look (which I asked her to do so), she realized she was wrong because the website I showed her is their official NZ website, but then she said they don’t have it in store, and I asked her to check which store has it in stock, she went straight ahead to the counter, stood there staring at the screen acting she was looking for that product for me but she wasn’t even typing, after a few seconds she said the product I’m looking for is online exclusive because it’s on sale on their website. She sounds like she doesn’t want to bother to find me a product which is on sale. If it’s not in stock in your store or any of your stores it totally fine, I know there’s products not being sold at the physical stores at all. But why you treated me like I owe you something and like I was wasting your time asking on a product which is on sale? Please don’t force your employees to work, don’t train them to only serve those customer who’s buying stuffs because when that lady told me it’s online exclusive, I left the counter super disappointed but I was still hanging in the store and having look at random stuffs because I really need to get ready for the coming winter season, then there was a customer who came after me, seems like to buy an item which they have it in store, that same lady served that guy with good attitude and keep explaining things to that customer while I have been wandering in the store for a long time. Even I’m not be able to buy that vest since you don’t have it in stock or don’t have any reminder on your website saying this specific product is online exclusive then I don’t have to waste my lunch time receiving disgusting customer service while getting no assistance and no more desire to buy anything at your store at all. I know customer service is a challenging job because I work in customer service as well. But what I wanna say is that the way you treat your job is gonna be the same way your life treats you back. So good luck to that lady:)

The idea of a puffer jacket has been on my mind and I have been avoiding buying one because of the price but also the lack of knowledge I have surrounding them. Luckily this girl who was there on the Saturday was amazing and was so knowledgeable. Highly reccomend, and would come back incase I need another one!

Poor service. Staff uninterested and unengaged with customers walking through the door. Took a while to be served at the counter with staff talking to each other. Finally went to pay and was overcharged what was on the retail tag. Server didn't care nor did manager once he fixed the issue. No apology. Just poor service overall, enough to write a review about.

Disappointing to say the least! What they should tell you is that once you walk out of the store with your purchase ,if it breaks, it's your problem. I bought a Men's Stretch Down Jacket a few weeks before lockdown. My jackets stitching has started to come loose. I contacted customer support and was told very nicely that I should take it to repairer they recommend who will fix it at a good price. This is clearly some manufacturing defect but North Face's stance is its my issue. I got the best service inside the store which is what prompted me to cough up $500 for the jacket instead of another competitor that was cheaper. I thought I would get quality. Instead I got a bad quality jacket with terrible after sales support. I swear I will never buy another North Face jacket again. #verydissapointedcustomer Initially I posted the review above but I went into the store in AKL today. I explained the situation and they did not ask a question. they just changed the jacket for a brand new one on the spot. Really pleased with the service I received in store:-) 5 stars for me :-)

Poor experience from start to finish. 2 pairs of faulty boots & the returns process was made very difficult. The customer shouldn't have to do all the chasing & I was passed from department to department which was very frustrating. Did not expect such poor service from a brand like North Face. Will stick with outdoors stoors going forward where custom is more valued.
