   Muslim women especially hijabi's I could not recommend this salon enough, they have a private room in the salon you can book, I had a cut and blow dry for the first time in 4 years here and it was an amazingly positive experience. I had olivia during my hair cut and she was so accommodating, and understanding to our hair care and journey as hijabi's. I was offered tea, water or coffee, the fan was turned on so I felt comfortable. Overall highly recommend, amazing service, haircut, can't wait till my next visit.

   Friendly, Clean and Professional Salon Welcoming staff and excellent customer service. I've had 2 keratin nano-plasty treatments & one wash & blow dry, I always walk out happy. The keratin treatment visibly improved my hair texture. My natural hair was thick and coarse and their treatments have improved the health of my hair. They offer honest, reliable hair advice and affordable products to maintain salon results. Thanks for having me Protege hair design, I look forward to returning!

   Lovely experience! First time having an actual hair spa & I had it with Brendon. He took very good care of me & made me feel very comfortable & confident! Very lovely guy & his technique & skills was definitely top notch. He explained everything specifically & he showed it too! My scalp feels amazing & clean, although the appt was only focusing on my scalp, my hair feels amazing too! I felt very relaxed. I personally usually don’t like to book with any male but he definitely made me safe & heard. He made sure to be careful with my skin aswell because I do have very sensitive skin. So far no reaction, will definitely be back! Keep up the good work Brendon!

   This is my second time visiting Rose at Protégé Hair Design, and once again, I had a wonderful experience. The first time I came in, Rose kindly scheduled me after 5pm to accommodate my need for privacy as a hijabi — something I truly appreciated. This time, I was so pleasantly surprised to find that the salon has now set up a private room, which means I can book an appointment at any available time. It’s incredibly heartwarming to see a salon take thoughtful steps to make every client feel comfortable and included. Not only is Rose amazing, but every team member I’ve met here has been so warm and welcoming. As for the quality of the hair styling, cutting, and care — I can confidently say I’ll be a regular!    I’ve been to many salons in Auckland and this salon made me feel very welcome and accommodated. The environment is relaxed and the service was amazing!!! Daria did a creative colour in my hair (balayage) and the result was everything I wanted. She exceed my expectations. Would highly recommend this salon!!
