   Cute little place. Menu has a sharing menu and mains. I had the raw fish, he had the kimchi inspired dish and they had the main fish dish. I had to have the toffee pudding dessert which was top notch. Our sharing dishes were packed with flavour. Just the right portion and filling. Would recommend stopping by. The staff are friendly and helpful. And resilient (because my friend was initially rude). Very impressive.

   I finally popped in here for lunch! This place has been on my radar a long time and it did not disappoint. Super welcoming staff, very cute decor. Great menu- beautiful selection of beer and wine, delicious looking cocktails. I had the duck carnitas as it was just a quick lunch for me, and they were fantastic! The duck was perfectly cooked.    Really lovely little restaurant. Nice cosy atmosphere. Staff were warm and knowledgable. Food was amazing. Favourites were the raw fish tostada (too good to share), sweet and sour mushrooms, the duck carnitas and the lamb (really generous portion). Drinks were delicious especially the rhubarb sour.

   Everyone seems to talk about the duck tacos here but my friends and I think the stand out dishes were the tostadas we got (raw fish, prawns and octopus). They definitely don’t skim on ingredients, the tostadas were packed full of toppings/fillings. The combination of flavours were outstanding and not typically something you’d find in NZ restaurants! The eggplant dish was so crispy and flavoursome - has got to be one of the top eggplant dishes in the city. The t-bone was cooked to absolute perfection. It had a nice sear to it, just the right amount of salt, and was juicy/tender - everything you want in a steak. I would say it was great value for money too. Paid just under $90 for all this food (split between 5 of us) plus I got a cocktail and wine too!

   The food was spectacular! We had oysters, raw fish, beef tartare, and the lamb which were all absolutely divine. The cocktails were superb too! The wait staff were very attentive and also patient. Highly recommend!

   Not a cheap experience, but what we ate was quality. The raw fish tostada was a delightful way to start. The trevally was creamy, and paired well with the peach salsa. I would recommend confidently splitting the tostada with a swift movement down the middle for a clean split. Good to share between two people. We added duck carnitas to our 'entree' and it was the best decision ever. If there is one thing to get, it's the duck carnitas. Perfectly seasoned, in soft flour taco shells, I could've eaten the plate to myself. As our large plate, we decided on the charred eggplants. So good! The yoghurt and harissa paired well with the charred flavours. The corn tacos were interesting - a little bit gritty, but it did make it feel more rustic. It was a good neutral vessel for a super flavourful eggplant. Definitely keen to come back and try the market fish (which we saw someone else order). Service was lovely. Unobtrusive, and very chill. Some free parking available on the side street next to the takeaways of you're esrky enough (pre-midday).

   Absolutely delicious, great range of different dishes to try - forgot to take photo of some of them because they looked so good we just got stuck in. Loved the drinks on offer too and the staff were fantastic, very helpful! Aside from the food being the best I’ve had in a long time, the vibe is great too. Wish I could have ragtag every day.
