Honestly, I just ordered their fish and chips, and just had a bite, and it’s immediately up there as possibly the best, at the very least top 3 F&C in Wellington. Wow, this is great stuff. The chips are just average, but their fish is superlative. Well done, team.

Who will eat Hainan Chicken rice come with sweet and chill sauce? Really disappointing! If there is no ginger and scallion sauce, the guests should be informed instead of being made to eat the nasty sauce!
I ordered Kung Po Chicken at this restaurant, but what I got was nothing like it—an absolute insult to the dish. The chef doesn't know anything about this dish. To top it off, their "Kung Pao Chicken" inexplicably included broccoli, corn, mushrooms, eggplant, green beans, and cauliflower. I hope that they could delete it from their menu.
Went here to get a chinese meal a few weeks ago. I ordered the roast pork wonton noodle soup, which tasted absolutely amazing! Very impressive quality of meat and wontons, making the dish great value for money. I have been to Fang's many times for both fish and chips as well as Chinese and never disappoints.

6.50 for a scoop of chips and portion size was so small. Sweet and sour chicken wasn't great either. Only two pieces of pineapple
Quite flavoursome and delicious Chinese food. They have everything from fully authentic, to simple fried rice and dumplings. We very much enjoyed our dinner. Yum.
This place serves so many Chinese food you can literally order many things at the same time. I like the fact that this place is close to my home and they are very efficient so you can order the food fast. Fattiest menus for the chicken, beef, pork, seafood, rice, noodles, and more, including Fish and chips can be ordered here. I have tried the fried rice, including Indonesian fried rice, Mongolian beef, fish and chips, and spicy chicken. You can order them with rice or without rice. The price is very reasonable, ranging from NZ$12-NZ$17 per portion for main dishes. The portion is also generous and in my case, I can even eat it twice. It is very easy to spot this place and parking is relatively easy to find as well. The entrance is friendly for peesons with disability as well.
