   Warm and friendly atmosphere with cool staff and a good variety of entertainment. Previously hosted the highest RTP % pokies in wellington but has since been reduced likely to accommodate new gaming systems. RTP is still higher than average so definitely worth popping in if you're in the area!

   Good local pub in the heart of Island Bay, they have bus stop right in front of their pub, so it’s an easy way home for me !! Anyways they have friendly people working here, good service, good selection of beers and good selection of whiskey as well, red wine looks good, there prices are very reasonable as well, they have a jukebox there as well and it’s free to play songs, have a dark board and. A pool table. And you can place bets here they have TAB in here.

   Wouldn't be somewhere I would normally go however we ended up here and had a great time. Very friendly locals. My girlfriend likes to sing and with a few drinks I convinced her to give the karaoke a go. Good times!

   My gratitude to the staff at Island Bay Bar for accommodating about 50 people as a last minute arrangement following the funeral of a loved family member. The food was good and didn't stop coming. The service was great and the staff friendly yet professional. Thank you so much.
