    I had an absolutely outstanding experience with Juliana at No. 1 Shoes, WestCity Mall (Henderson). I was looking for a very specific pair of shoes, and Juliana truly went above and beyond to make it happen. She took the time to call other branches, locate the shoes, and organise the allocation for me, nothing was too much trouble. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with: friendly, professional, and genuinely customer-focused. Juliana is a true asset to the store, and her exceptional service made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. I would highly recommend everyone to visit this store as they have great sales, and the customer service is simply outstanding. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of Juliana. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

    The 5 stars are for Ane and the other ladies who helped me yesterday (20/11/2025). Ane, you are an absolute rock star - thank you for being awesome. I do wish the Mnaukau store was just as good as you ladies are. The service I recieved at the Henderson store was second to none, even they are working under trying conditions of having a mini sauna - it's not winter! Please, please fix the air conditioner! I perspire at the best of times, but yesterday, I wish I had brought my swimsuit and a towel. I shall be back and I will look for you wonderful ladies. Thank you so much.

    Changing review from 1 ⭐️to 2 ⭐️ because I did get a full refund in the end after complaining repeatedly to upper management. Ankle boots broke after 4 months! They cracked in half where you bend your toes and the front of the sole came completely off! I have had problems with poor quality from this store several times in the past but thought that since it has combined with Hannahs it would be better. The No. 1 Shoes brands are just as terrible as they were. I couldn’t find my receipt, (I always keep my receipts), and was told that without original receipt I couldn’t get a refund, even though they had my receipt and purchase details on my account in their system. I just found today that I had been emailed the receipt, which hadn’t even occurred to me, so it was impossible for me to produce a paper receipt! I only got a 50% refund as I didn’t do ‘shoe care’ in the 4 months I had the shoes?? The manager was terrible to deal with and started getting nasty when I asked what shoe care I should have done in 4 months and shouldn’t shoes last longer than this?

    Changing review from 1 ⭐️to 2 ⭐️ because I did get a full refund in the end after complaining repeatedly to upper management. I wanted a full refund for my daughter’s pair of $140 boots that only lasted 4 months but only got offered a 50% refund. They cited wear and tear as the reason a piece of the tread fell out of the middle of the sole of both boots. This is the 2nd time this has happened with shoes from this shop. These Hannahs brand boots only get about 15 minutes of walking on the days they are used. I’m very unhappy with the service from No.1 Shoes, their initial response sounded like a pre-recorded answer they give everyone who has their shoes fall apart, it sounds like it happens a lot. If you do buy from this shoddy store, make sure you constantly perform ‘shoe care’ as that is the other reason they said the boots fell apart, whatever ‘shoe care’ means on a pair of boots used for around 4 months!

    I went to Hannahs today at Westcity...no intention to buy however sales person was so good that I end up buying 4 pairs of shoes. Ranjani honestly you are too good. You were super energized and very friendly to deal with. I am sure I will be back very soon.

    Huge shoe store, place is tidy, the older lady was helpful in finding what we were after. We had a gift card to use but was told some story about your system being new and wouldnt accept it and management not accepting gift cards, idk if this info being passed on was true. We did call customer service and was told any stores in West City accept it, maybe the guy didnt know how to process the transaction.

    I bought 2 pairs of shoes at the Henderson store today. The young shop assistant was friendly and offered amazing assistance. Upon completion of my purchace I realized I had been accidentally overcharged $20, so I returned to the store to sort out the mistake. The young shop assistant was very helpful and apologetic and adviced she would get her manager to fix the issue. This is were the issues began. The Indian manger took 5 minutes to come and assist the problem. She did not even acknowledge me let alone offer an apology. She started tapping away at the store computer and abruptly said to me...This is what we will do...we will reverse the change in your card, it will take one week depending on your bank....ONE WEEK! I said no...cant you just give me a refund of $20 out of the till? She said no and continued tapping at the computer. She then threw a pad at me and demanded I filled in my details for a refund that I had to wait 1 week for. This is not on Hannah's Henderson. I was overcharged and made to feel like I was a villain by your untrained manager for asking for my money to be returned. Disgusting behavior and you have now lost a loyal customer.
