   As much as we love bal ganga, one thing this place lacks is consistency. We ordered momos (delicious btw) two times in 2 weeks. First time when the owner was there, the order was good. The second time we went, the order wasn’t complete. Momos were carelessly thrown in the container, there was no sauce with it or the special powder/masala was missing.

   Tasty Homely food Located right in the centre of the Auckland city CBD, just behind saravanaa bhawan , good option for vegetarian indian travellers. Food tastes yummy, just like indian street food, i felt like i am eating at my home.. kids loved the food too. Quite popular with locals. There is no dining place though, so you have to Take Away only. Qty is good and 1 dish is sufficient for 2 people ! Reasonably priced too !!

   The place looks a little unhygienic, had a Samosa Chaat here the other day wasn’t authentic at all was pretty bland. Food is fairly priced and reasonable. They have a wide menu. I wouldn’t recommend it.

   Do not waste your time and money on this restaurant. Ordered 3* aaloo paratha and one samosa chaat. The samosa chaat was spilled all over in the order as the container was leaky. On top of that instead of 3 parathas they gave me a lil more than half paratha. Upon calling the restaurant the person on phone was very rude and not admitting there mistake. Do yourself a favor and grab food from somewhere else!!!

   Normally I don't put review even if there is something wrong but this is second time I felt that their food is very unhygienic. I had an Aalo prantha from here and found 2 long hair in that prantha. It happened to me last month as well but this time I couldn't stop myself from putting this review. They should pay more attention in hygiene and cleanliness. To be honest I can't eat food from this shop anymore. Food is cheap no doubt and staff is nice and polite.

   Some stuff is really good while some dishes are subpar. Also, the quality of the food ordered varies every time as mentioned above. Sometimes the parathas are to die for, while sometimes they are burnt and looks like they've been prepared in a hurry. The only thing consistent about this place is the low prices, quick service (if you call and place your order, it is likely that you don't have to wait for long and the order will have been made ready) and the chaat items (whose taste does not change, mostly). Hence the average ratings.
