   We reserved a six-hour tour of Wellington with Suzee of uTours. She fulfilled all of our requests regarding sightseeing destinations. Her knowledge of Wellington is extensive. The vehicle provided was comfortable. We really enjoyed our experience.

   What a wonderful day! We left the itinerary to Jo as we had little knowledge of Wellington and she more than delivered. Not only did we see many sights, but Jo had a wealth of knowledge on al sorts of information about New Zealand in general. Her vehicle was really comfortable and we had some wonderful NZ snacks.Lu ch was fantastic and off the beaten track. I'm not going to reveal where it was, if you are lucky she may take you there too. This was one of our favorite excursions by far!

   Suzee and Jo did an excellent job helping us "see" Wellington in a day. Pre-excursion communication was clear and put us at ease. Suzee was waiting for us at the port with a very comfortable coach that had plenty of room for 6 adults. Suzee served as our driver, narrator, photographer, and entertainer. She checked off all of the places we wanted to visit - and more. The Kamara Cafe for lunch was a great choice. We left feeling like we have new friends in NZ.

   I had a very short amount of time in Wellington and wanted to make the most of it. I wanted to find a tour company that would help me achieve this, and based on the reviews I chose Suzee at uTours. I’m so glad I did. You won’t get a better tour experience than this. She brought me by the best of Wellington, and out to Paekākāriki, Queen Elizabeth Park, and Paraparaumu. I was able to take in the beauty of the New Zealand landscape from perspectives you wouldn’t get on an ordinary tour. The tour van is very comfortable and safe. Suzee has a warm and welcoming personality. She makes you feel very comfortable, and provides you with a narrative so you really get an understanding and appreciation of your surroundings. Planning was easy. Suzee responded right away, listened to what I was looking for and delivered on it. I did not want a cookie cutter, tourist trap type of tour – and Suzee gave me exactly that. I’m so grateful I got to spend my time with her. A private tour with Suzee is well worth the money – especially for a single traveler. You won’t get lost in a crowd of people on a bus, you’ll see more and you will feel very safe. Thank you Suzee and uTours for a fabulous adventure!

   We had the absolute best tour of Wellington with Suzee! In reflecting on our day, it’s hard to believe how much we packed in, yet how unhurried and peaceful the day felt. Suzee poured a lot of time, thought and preparation (including an introductory/planning call well ahead of our trip!) into our day - so the result was well paced, tailored-to-our-interests and thorough tour. We saw everything we had hoped to see and more in this beautiful city - and had a delicious lunch, coffee and ice cream stop (local food that was tailored to gluten free and vegetarian requests) along the way. Suzee opted to bring us to places that were the locals-known-only version of the typical touristy highlights, so we felt like we saw an even better version of what most visitors get to see. Complete with historically significant sights, mountain look-outs, flora and fauna spotting, trendy/cultural highlights and more, Suzee’s tour covered every beautiful facet of Wellington. Suzee was honest, kind, knowledgeable, comfortable and genuinely welcoming to her hometown. AND she got us back well ahead of sail away time! Your choice to spend a day with her will be an absolute highlight of your trip and you’ll be very glad to have chosen a tour with her over any other group/tour-ship operator. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

   This day tour with Suzee is highly recommended. She had an extensive knowledge of the area and accommodated our every wish. It was wet but she had planned for rain by taking us first to areas not yet affected in her spacious and comfortable mini van. The scenic routes she used could not be matched. One could not ask for more.

   This was the most amazing tour! Suzee is so personable and knowledgeable, we immediately felt comfortable. We only had a day and 1/2 in Wellington so wanted to make the most of it. Suzee made recommendations on what to do on our half-day there so that we could get the most of our full day with her - it was perfect! She picked us up in a really nice van, and brought local NZ-made drinks and snacks for us. We were able to see a few highlights in Wellington on our day with her that we couldn't get done the day before (Parliament, cablecar, etc.) and then she got us out of the city. The area around Wellington is beautiful! She asked about our preferences and then took us to many beautiful places including Paraparaumu Beach, the Kaputi Island lookout, the Paekakariki Marine's Memorial, the Paekakariki Hill Road lookout, and Mt. Victoria. We had lunch together at a great seafood place in Paraparaumu Beach. It was a place where the locals go - great fish and chips! She also surprised us with a trip to a farm where we saw incredible things - won't go into detail as I don't want to ruin it for others. Suzee is an incredible tour guide, and most importantly, an incredible person! If you are thinking of doing a tour with her, don't hesitate, it is so worth it. It is one of the best things we did on our trip to NZ, and we now have a great appreciation for Wellington and the surrounding area. Suzee felt like family immediately and we will definitely stay in touch with her. The tour didn't end that day as she gave us recommendations on where to eat and stop on our way to Lake Taupo the next day. We loved our day with Suzee!

   Suzee our tour guide was awesome. She gave us a super tour of the city, shores, look out sites, etc. She was very knowledgeable and was able to give us hands on local information about Wellington. She showed us around to places that were more personal and local than we would have seen with a large tour. Brought us local treats and beverages, all were delicious! She took us to a local restaurant across from the water and the meal was really good - you can't go wrong with fish and chips!! She even took us to the Lord of the Rings museum - wasn't on our itinerary, but she felt we should see it and it was great - some super pictures with the Ogres. Suzee really made you feel welcomed to Wellington and gave a personalized tour that was fun. Would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends!

   We cruised to Wellington in January on our New Zealand cruise & I booked Suzee for a very special tour. Suzee went above & beyond to make our day special. It was my partners birthday on this day, so I worked with Suzee to organise a trip to Palliser Bay. It was a bucket list place for my partner who has 2 bottles of Whiskey from the Ben Avon that sank in the bay in 1903. Suzee wasn't sure if we could risk this trip as it was a long way from the ship & on single lane roads, so she did a run over there a week before to see if it was doable. My partner had the best day & we can't thank Suzee enough. We would recommend Suzee & utours Wellington to anyone wanting a basic tour around Wellington or something out of the box. If Suzee can make it happen she will. Thank you for a fabulous day.

   Suzee was great! Collected us from our Hotel, a few discussion point about our likes and dislikes and off we went on our "custom" tour. Very knowledgeable about the history of Wellington as one would expect, but Suzee had the back stories and more. I have some mobility issues and Suzee always found the best parking, even at the busiest parking lots! My wife and I learned more in one tour with Suzee than we have experienced with multiple guides in other cities! Always very concerned about health and safety, just a delightful bundle of EVERYTHING! Try her, she does alot with cruise ship arrivals on an individual basis. The best of all worlds.
