   We are a couple from Switzerland and booked a guided small-group tour with Great Days New Zealand Tours– and we were absolutely thrilled by the perfect balance of warm, personal care and highly professional organization throughout. We first discovered Great Days through their website and already had a very good feeling at that point – the tone and attention to detail came across clearly from the start. The journey itself was fantastic. Our guide, who also drove the minibus, was not only incredibly kind and personable, but also impressively knowledgeable about every corner and the incredible diversity of the country. We had never taken a small-group tour before and honestly didn’t think it would be for us – but after traveling with Great Days, we see it completely differently. We met like-minded fellow travelers, shared unforgettable experiences, and even made a few new friendships along the way. From the very first consultation to the final farewell, the entire experience was outstanding. New Zealand is truly breathtaking – warm-hearted people, stunningly diverse landscapes that feel like a whole world in one country, and a wonderfully well-thought-out itinerary. We felt in great hands even before the journey began. All our questions were answered promptly and knowledgeably, despite the time difference. Everything about this trip was a cut above the usual, and we’re especially glad we chose a true specialist with deep expertise on the ground. A heartfelt thank-you to Belle Talofa and Andreas Schmiedel, who made our New Zealand trip a truly unforgettable experience that we will cherish for a long time to come.    Andreas and his team organized a 21-day self-driving tour for my husband and I. We had an absolutely amazing trip. New Zealand is a beautiful and diverse country and we saw and experienced so much, from waterfalls at Milford Sound to sandy beaches at Abel Tasman, to paragliding in Queenstown. The people are kind, helpful and welcoming and we met many interesting fellow travelers along the way. Everything went very smoothly, no issues with reservations anywhere, and all of the accommodations were wonderful. If we ever get an opportunity to return to New Zealand, we will definitely use Great Days again!

   We started planning our trip for a 3.5 week trip to NZ 14 months ago and when we were looking for a provider for self-drive cars we found out GreatDays NZ Tours and Mr Schmiedel. Even at this early stage, GreatDays was able to make us an offer that was quickly updated over the next few weeks according to our wishes. Extensive online documents were available, which were very helpful during the trip together with Google Maps - one click on the link and you knew where to go. There were no problems on the entire trip. All hosts were fully and well informed about us. We were already expected everywhere and welcomed with friendly words. The booked transfers (pick-ups and ferry) and everything related to the rental car also went smoothly - from the handover to us in Auckland to the return at the airport in Christchurch. An unforgettable experience that deserves 6 stars.

   Gesa picked us up from our cruise ship and dropped us off at the airport. In between we got a wonderful tour of the Auckland area with a view of the West coast and it's black beaches as well. Everything went without a hitch and learning about living in the area was a bonus. Highly recommend this company for your touring needs

   This company is wonderful and honest! During the first part of Covid we had booked a 2 days excursion from our cruise ship. When it was canceled they refunded all the money I had paid. I rebooked the trip last year and worked with me when complications with the cruise ship reoccurred. When I send an email they respond right back next day. They have been wonderful to work with. Great company!!
