This was so bad. When we went through the drive through the ai didn’t let us order and didnt even give me my food
$23.40 spent on a Triple Whopper combo. 3 dry patties with MINIMAL sauce so the whole burger was dry. Absolute waste of money and won't be returning, should have gone local and got a meal more nutricious and cheaper. Left dissatisfied as I also ended up receiving half my order which I had to go back and pay again for. Other Burger King outlets are better than this..
Order machines in store were down and therefore we required face to face service. Staff ignored us for 5 minutes, even though we were politely saying excuse me, just plain rude. Otherwise food was good and cheap
Used drive thru to order a Whopper meal. While waiting at the window for food we listened to staff joking around and swearing. We drove off to eat but discovered our Whopper burger bun had MOULD on the bottom so we drove back and went in store. Staff still joking around but got the attention of a guy with headset on. He offered to sort our ‘mouldy burger’. No apology or offer of a refund (noting apparently you should be offered a full refund and a replacement). At that point I noticed the grubby counter…the perspex screen has so much yuck under it and area is cluttered and messy. Numerous staff lacked hair nets ( hair loosely tied…not appropriate for food handling), no sign of management ‘behaviour’ just staff standing around having a giggle. Surely it doesn’t take much to know food safe behaviour and check your ingredients prior to presenting to customers. BK Kumeu might look new / flash but know the food here is certainly questionable. April 2023 - just drive past - there are BK around with management who are engaged with staff behaviour and safe practices.”Mouldy burger” certainly very present at this store so always check your food prior to taking a bite because staff won’t be paying attention in prep.
So I walked into Burger King in kumeu today Almost falling over on the floor that felt like it had been cleaned with cooking oil Then waiting around 30 minutes,to have my food handed to me by some kid who looked no older than he if he was legally allowed to be left unsupervised Returning to my table after grabbing a drink where the machine was producing a horrible mix of drink To open my bag to find cold stale chips And a burger that looks like it had not only been cooked 3 days ago and then thrown in the microwave ,but also looking like it had been used in a game of volleyball An absolute mess! Honestly,where does it end? Quantity over quality? What happened to the good days at Burger King Where there was Retro diners Hot fresh food The #1 best place to go Bk was a great childhood place memory of mine Now I’m unsure if I’ll ever step foot into another one again At least McDonald’s upholds their reputation You guys need to really think about the correct training Health n safety And incentive moving forward to ensure that your diner is operated professionally and on a high standard Sort it out
Was excited to eat burger king but was very dissatisfied with the food, fries tasted very stale no flavor, onion rings was soggy and the burger was so bad the chicken was so hard! The staff is really nice just not the food!
So disappointed i won't be back, surely the person cooking the food would notice that only half the pattie there and I wouldn't notice. Will rather support other hospitality businesses in the area now. Wont be back.
Hot food , clean. Chips cooked nice as was my burger, young freindly staff ready and willing to give the real tase of what BK stands for.
A BIT OF A LET DOWN..Dirty tables,all greasy and covered in food scraps from previous patrons. The floor is brown in places ,looks like it gets cleaned once a week. No napkins on offer, you have to ask for them. The Burger was ok. Chicken tenders were overcooked and hard. No sugar on offer either for your coffee. At 9.28 pm the door was locked although it says the resturant is open til 10pm on google. No lit up signs out side, hard to tell if they are even open for business til you look inside
