Good fully fence dog park. Don’t need to worry about dog run to vehicle road, you can meet many different kinds of dogs, they can play together. With fresh water serve.
My pups absolutely love this place, great for throwing a ball as there's lots of space, great for making new doggy (and human!) friends. There's nice chairs in the shade as well as a dog agility tunnel and water fountain with dog bowls that has been a great new addition. Nice high fencing and lots of room as well as there being a dog friendly river next door. Can be hot on warmer days as there is limited shade. I highly reccomend this park to anyone!
I really like this park, lots of familiar doggos, people's and scents. For the most part my pups live it here once a fortnight.
Great to have water installed now. Good drainage and lots of fun for all dogs
It's nice to have a dog park in Tawa, but this one is basic with a fair amount of rubbish in it and very little flat ground for dogs to run on.
Decent size, bigger than first appeared with 2 entrances along the walkway. Has doggie doo bags and a bin. There are water bowls, but no water onsite so byo to use the bowls. Locals have left a couple of chairs, which are great for getting under the shade, council supplied seating as well. Dog loved it.
good dog park however not separated for small and large dogs which can be an issue. could be resolved simply with a fence down the middle! Can get pretty muddy in winter bring your gum boots!
Such a great place for dogs to play in a fenced area. Our pup had a blast!
We always take our husky here to run and play with other dogs on the weekend. It's such a lovely spot, the only thing is just like any other dog parks in Wellington, it can be very muddy and wet.
