Ordered a Cajun lamb and Chilli lamb souvlaki. Both super delicious. Service was excellent. Souvlakis were made in 10 mins. Happy customer.
Best falafel and salad I’ve ever tasted - the food was fresh and the serving was generous. No frills dine in - simple and authentic.
Amazing food, with very fast and efficient service (less than 5 minutes). Very personable and polite servers. Food was presented beautifully. Would recommend the chicken escender!
Great kebab, great souvlaki (love the chips in there) great pitas, great softs breads holding it all together well. 1st time there and will definitely be going again. Great stuff team!
Wow - the lamb cajun souvlaki was massive and full of flavour! Value for $ Lovely owner too I'll be going out if my way to return here on my next visit to Wellington
Tried this place due to the high rating (which I'm very much questioning now) and the fact that it's local to me. My usual place is Souvlaki at Acropolis whereby the lamb simply melts in your mouth. I assumed (wrongly) I'd be getting the same quality here, especially considering the prices are higher than Acropolis. Treats are few and far between for us due to the cost of living crisis, and sadly this was $40 down the drain. Ordered a cajun lamb souvlaki and my husband ordering the lamb salad. Bizarrely, upon opening the "authetic" souv the first thing I noticed was that it was stuffed with ... more chips? Never seen that before. Chips were part of the deal and they were on the side as they should be, but also stuffed into the actual pita itself. Maybe to make the pita look less sad? The "cajun" lamb was devoid of any flavour or spice. A tricky eat due to the toughness of the lamb and the gristle, I suspect mutton was used. Gave up and had to bin it in the end. My husband also noted the gristly lamb in his rather sad looking $24 (approx) salad. Also binned. Obviously tonight was an "off night" but an expensive mistake for us to make, won't be back and won't be recommending this place to others.
Great coffee - did I mention the coffee? Great. I eat in and watch the world go by with a strong coffee and a spicy grilled chicken salad with olives and everything. I have also had their yummy, proper "fresh cooked" kebabs . Friendly staff and owner working hard to get a nice vibe. Several months later it's still great. Gotta love olives in their salads.
