My favorite bar in wellington, service is always on point and the ambience, music choice and decor are great Gotta get the ceviche if you come here by far the standout dish but they don't make a bad dish either
Fiedel's Café moved into the Havana bar - they share places at the moment. We went here for breakfast, and had the waffle and the breakfast burrito. Both were great! The cappuccinos were also super tasty! Highly recommend coming here for breakfast or a quick coffee pitstop.
A tasty meal packed full of delicious Peruvian inspired small plates. The interior was quirky and provided for a cozy ambience on a cold winters night. The staff were friendly and well trained. Most importantly the food was delicious, although a touch more salt would have elevated the entrees. The portions were reasonably sized for their price. I highly recommend the Patatas Bravas, the Seafood Dumpling and the Octopus! A must visit restaurant when in Wellington.
Havana Bar was recommended to us on a Wellington review page. Everything was really excellent. The atmosphere was cozy. The music and the lights were appropriate for our conversation. The food and drinks were delicious and at a fair price. We highlight the ceviche, you must try it! We will definitely come back to enjoy the night of live music.
Had a nice evening here with friends… tapas so you need to order a few dishes, nice food but we did say to the waitress that we were not sure if we had ordered enough…. only be told that when we we’re ready for more that the kitchen had closed and was only now doing desserts. Would have liked a warning to say the kitchen was closing…. Had to stop for takeout on the way home! Not ideal.
Great atmosphere and service, staff is friendly. I've been there for drinks and I'd totally recommend the Caipirinha, one of the best cocktails there is!
if I could give this place 10/10, I’d give it 15. honestly the service was amazing. the servers and the chefs were all so lovely and accomodating. they made sure to explain every dish, how the menu worked, always refilled our glasses before replacing the jug. loved the vibe of the place, so many things to see, the music was beautiful and felt just right. only con would be that it sort of felt a bit cramped, just a little though. but the food… IMMACULATE. some of the finest food I’ve ever had in my life for sure. it was all soooo flavoursome and surprisingly filling too. well worth the coin, would definitely come back and would like to thank the workers there for making it such an enjoyable night.
Lovely meal. The zucchini tart was amazing, as were the prawns. Everything was so good. Really nice staff and a chill atmosphere too.
