   The Simply Grill Kitchen on Jackson St Petone is a fairly laid back establishment. Food is good, so was the service, atmosphere was quite low key. Prices were average for the type of food that was on offer. Overall it was nothing special and given the level of competition in this area of Petone, we are unlikely to go back anytime soon.

   Outstanding service and delicious food! My partner and I were on the hunt for a good steakhouse around Lower Hutt, and we’re so glad we found this place. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome — super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We ordered steak (of course), and it was cooked to perfection✨ juicy, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

   Outstanding service and food. My partner and I came here because we were looking for a steak house within the Lower Hutt area to try. We were blown away with our rib eye steaks and desserts. I loved the mushroom sauce which came with the rib eye steak. For dessert I had the lemon tart which was delicious!! My partner had the Whitakers chocolate dessert; he loved it! It was too rich for me, but if you’re a sweet tooth you’d love it!

   We went there for brunch. The service was excellent and the food was superb. Eggs perfectly cooked, bacon crispy, and served on really warmed plates so the food stayed hot. I thought it was good value too for what we had. Will definitely be back.

   Booked a table for a large group (around 20 people) and could not of been more happier!! Everything was perfect and Khan was an absolute delight to correspond with and really catered to suit our needs. We went for a set menu which offered a really good selection of dishes and really well priced. The food was really delicious and great portion sizes. The service was amazing and the staff really friendly and attentive. Everyone in our party said what a lovely time they had and how great the food was. Thank you so much for creating a really enjoyable afternoon for everyone. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat and also if need to cater for a large group.

   Choose to dine here based on recent google reviews & was thoroughly pleased. First time I’ve been in this restaurant which was full on a Sunday night of a long weekend. I remembered the owner had won some awards for his previous restaurant in the Hutt so I was hopeful that it would be a good experience. Everything we ordered from the garlic bread, beef cheek, eye fillet steak, onion rings & caramel cheesecake were all delicious & tasty. The wine options were good & well priced, the staff were helpful & accommodating. I will certainly go back & recommend.(Portions are bigger than how they appear in my photos).
