Highy recommend. Took my fur baby in to get her nails clipped as she's very stubborn when I've tried multiple times at home. Surprisingly she was well behaved and allowed her nails to be clipped without resisting during her visit. Will definitely be back for regular clippings.
Took my pom in for a teddy cut, she was returned to me shaved to the skin. Her double coat is now ruined, her skin has turned black due to the trauma from the shave, and I will now have to watch her closely through the hot Summer as she no longer can regulate her temperate without a double-coat. I however was refunded so that's nice, although the owner did backtalk a bit. He insisted this is a popular cut for double-coated dogs. If you have a double-coated dog and you shave them, please stop. :) UPDATE: Nearly immediately after this post, the owner called me approximately 10+ times within the span of 30 minutes, proceeded to accuse me of attacking him, when asked what the point of the call was, he couldn't tell me - Guess he just wanted to yell at me for leaving an honest review alongside my partner, as we are the TWO dissatisfied customers of his service of our one dog. Be cautioned if you don't leave a pristine review in lieu of an honest one. Photos attached of call log as well as the shape of my dogs cut. (Because even if we look beside the point of her 'teddy cut', it's a choppy cut regardless.)
Took our springer spaniel in today for his first groom! Have been trying to do it ourselves with mixed results. So glad we took him in, such a great result and a calm happy boy on pick up. Really appreciate that the groomer took time to introduce him to the clippers so it was a low stress environment. Don't think we will go back to DIY grooming after this!
Got a quick nail clip for our pup. David was professional and friendly. Very well priced and quick service. Pup didn't complain as David knew exactly why he was doing. Will more than likely go back to him again and try out his other grooming services.
Recently tried out Barkers Dog Grooming for the first time and would highly recommend - prompt communication, reasonable pricing and convenient location (just off SH18 - Lincoln Road exit). Picture is of my Airedale Terrier pre and post groom (I asked for a “shearing” due to summer).
By far the best dog groomer with unbeatable prices. I booked my Border Collie and Labrador x Border Collie in with David and they came back so happy and clean and just overall groomed very well. It has almost been a week since they were groomed and they still smell amazing. Highly recommend David.
I will tell you right now, this guy is the best in the business. I brought my husky in for a grooming. I was doubtful that he would be able to do much but I underestimated him. Also for the price he is charging and the service that is provided is why he gets 5 stars. If he can groom my dog, he can groom ANY dog out there to a high, professional level with care. Thank you mate and we will definitely be returning.
