Seems like half the people this company hire can't speak English properly - pretty hard to get anything across.
Unprofessional & bad service Was there before closing get some change Staff wouldn't let me in ( even asked manager but he declined) How can people run the business if you gonna lock the changing machine inside the bank. Will avoid this branch for sure.
The rating of this branch is really well deserved. The whole team is in chaos. The manager is very unprofessional and completely confused about the handling process. It took me three and a half months to handle a very simple proof of funds. There is also an Indian female assistant at the front desk who is always arrogant and looks down on people. She never takes the initiative to ask Asian customers and her eyes are full of contempt. I am deeply disappointed with this brand bank and I never want to go back there again.
The Managers and the staff in this branch are doing their best to help us as their clients. I give them the 5 stars. While the banking system in NZ needs a big improvement to catch up with the rest of the world, I don't know who is responsible for this but I only give them 3 stars
The attitude of the Indian service staff is extremely bad. They have no patience at all. They don't think about the problem from the customer's point of view. They make the customer wait for half an hour without solving any problems.
Very easy to see why this branch has a 1 star rating! Ting shuen chia and jade carter (? She has messy writing, cant quite read her name) wont take a business deposit from someone who doesn't personally bank with ASB. I've been doing the business banking for a year and a half, sometimes at this branch, sometimes at wairau. Glenfield ASB is unnecessarily hard to deal with. They go out of their way to be unhelpful. Want you to open a business account with them, then won't let employees deposit into it. I was asked for ID and several personal details. But the details asked depend on who you get at the counter. There is no consistency. If you have a process then stick to it, don't change it for each teller. Edit: I'm at wairau branch, no questions asked, deposit made with no bother. We had a good laugh about the Glenfield branch, they weren't surprised by my feedback!
I have always found ASB Glenfield staff to be friendly & helpful . In particular- I dealt with Shanti the other day & she was wonderful!! Thanks ASB Glenfield for your commitment to customer care !
Terrible staff etiquette. It seemed I was interrupting their day when I arrived for my appointment. I was told my paperwork was good by the staff member who booked my appointment last week and told the total opposite from a staff member who took the appointment. So I closed my account.
Very poor service by the front desk guy. Very invasive and unnecessary questions just to make an appointment. Definitely not coming back or recommending this branch. The Bank should choose better their employees and give a proper training.
