Had the worst customer service experience. There was a Vietnamese lady who was Totally disinterested in getting the card services done and literally was pushing me out of the counter while I was setting up the PIN #. Never have I seen such a pathetic staff in a banking office.
I highly commend Pete for him for helping out my family member. He took the initiative, was highly proactive, friendly and actually resolved our problem. When no other staff member would or could! Excellent bankers like Pete are hard to come across.
Very helpful and patient staff mainly the lovely man from Delhi A. And also Vishnu from Hyderabad. Both very pleasant and easy to deal with
Made an appointment a week in advance to open a children's account (noted in advance) Elderly mother and 6 month baby accompanied. Despite asking no 'office room' had been booked or was available. 1.5 hours despite having all necessary paperwork. Stood at open counter at mall edge. Many irrelevant 'review' questions about my adult account, and incorrect information eg opening a kiwisaver needed to see a personal manager - why weren't we ??? incorrect information about 'pay by rounding up' . Even when baby needed feeding and upset after an hour -no 'read the room' , speed up, find a space. This is a 6th generation customer -pretty disgusted at complete lack of common sense and customer service - none. Took afternoon off work to get jobs done - left with half done -and I won't be going back to this branch. (And did read the site saying discontinued, but still disappointed that children don't get KASHIN money box or welcome, as we did. No I don't want a digital platform -child is screen-free). I would give less than one for the stressful encounter. I hope someone reads and sorts... costs nothing to do better.

Never use other bank cards to withdraw money at the machine cuz it won’t give back! Staffs can’t do anything for you so strange reason ! what a waste of time
I was served by Palash on Sunday who went out of his way to help myself and my partner with setting up a joint account, he was doing a great job of helping many people out as it was very busy at the time. Palash also directed me to Annie who helped me with my financial wellbeing check up and was super informative too. Thank you!

Rude, incompetent staff. Was told by the bank through secure messaging to come into branch to provide ID for a joint account. On arrival the staff member was rude, said I needed an appointment or come in and wait for up to an hour on a different day. When asked about an appointment the nearest one was 12 days away!! I was literally bringing my partner in (a new customer of asb)to setup a joint account to save for a new house. No thanks, we'll go somewhere else. Absolutely hopeless.
